"She Came, She Came , She Really Came Mom!"

Kiersten was ecstatic this morning when she look under her pillow and saw that the Tooth Fairy had come and she let her keep her tooth. She was happy to get two quarters...............................then when we looked closer and discovered they were really TWO GOLD DOLLARS, she was amazed! It was like Christmas morning for her!

Big Day For Kiersten.............

Kiersten lost her FIRST TOOTH today! Yes she is almost 7, so she's a little dentally challenged. She was extremely excited as one could imagine, she has been telling us since the beginning of Kindergarten that her tooth was loose. She has wanted to loose a tooth for so long she told me several times today I can't believe it was my turn to loose a tooth! She is all excited about the Tooth Fairy, but wanted to keep her tooth. So she left the Tooth Fairy a note asking her if she thought it would be OK. It was so cute!

From the picture you can see that Kiersten already has her permanent tooth growing half way in, behind where the baby tooth fell out. It's been that way for several months..............she's just been waiting and a wiggling away!

Happy Birthday Justin!!!

Justin turns 31!

As you can tell he was very excited about his gifts. We got him stuff for his playstation 3, we just got. Really these gifts are more for the kids, but he is a good actor!

The kids hide his presents around the house and loved watching him find them. Wish I would have video taped it because he was pretty hilarious! Kiersten decided that she wanted to take Justin out to dinner for his birthday. She was so excited about it and even wore a new outfit that she had been saving for "something special!" When we were getting ready to go pick up Justin from work (on Friday), Kiersten ran back in the house because she wanted to put on "prettier" ear rings for Justin's birthday dinner! She was so cute about looking good for her daddy!

On Saturday, Justin's actual birthday, we wanted to take out the rail and go explore. So we packed some dinner and off we went. We went up Taylor Canyon! It was so much fun. The kids loved the ride, but loved getting out and playing even more. They picked berries, made a fort, went on a hike, and had a great time as a family!

Kiersten stopped playing long enough for me to snap this picture.

Justin and the kids!

I asked Logan to smile and this is what he did. Two year olds, what can you do with them?

Logan was so happy he just kept jumping over the rocks and singing. He loves to sing, and yey this time it wasn't Jingle Bells!

The kids weren't too happy with me taking their picture. But it's like my sister-in-law says, "too bad I'm the Mom and I WIN!"

Logan loves his goggles! He is so cute with them on! He is starting to really love the rail. We kind of traumatized him at the Dunes in Yuma, so we are trying to take it easy now so he'll like it.

We had a fun time together!

Hunter was so excited to find gun shells. Justin took out the bullets and gun powder. We were surprised that when Justin asked Hunter what the powder was inside he said gun powder.

Hunter always has something in his pocket.............rocks, gun shells, bugs, once it was even a live frog. He was just keeping it in his pocket, how the frog survived was beyond me.

The kids were a little bummed that Justin didn't have any candles. So he did a good job pretending to blow out his fake candles. We decided to make a new dessert instead of typical cake. It is called Strawberry Whipped Sensation........................oh wow was it Divine! I'll have to post the recipe. It was so easy and delicious! It looks so fancy when you cut it into slices.

Funny Hunter!

Last night we had the Curtis cousins, Jacob and Katelynn, over for a sleepover. The kids had a lot of fun! They loved staying up until a late 10:00. Then around 1:00 a.m. Hunter comes in and wakes me up. He said, "Mom, Katelynn wants to go home now." So I got up and as we walked to the other side of the house I was asking Hunter questions............... "Why does Katelynn want to go home?" "Is she crying?" "Does she feel sick?" Hunter then replied, "Mom I don't know, she's talking like a girl and I don't understand her!!!" SO funny..................I hate to break it to him but he'll probably say that same thing many times in his life! Katelynn did go back to sleep and things were fine. Hunter's comment made having to get up at 1 a.m. worth it though!

Yey the Rail is Finally FIXED!!

We're so happy to have the rail finally fixed. Justin even got off work early on Monday (A BIG thanks to Tif for needing car help, or he wouldn't of), and we got in the rail and started exploring our new territory out here in Pima! We have a lot of great trails right by our subdivision, which we are loving! We found a cool spot that looked like had some cool rocks. The kids loved looking for rocks!
Isn't she so cute! Kiersten is a GREAT kid!

Kiersten has been a rock collector for years. She has always gotten a pocket full of rocks where ever we've gone.

Logan's not picky at all and he really only needs one rock and he is set!

The kids and I by the rail we love to ride. We are loving the summer and the wonderful evening weather, when it's finally cool and we can go ride the rail! The kids and I wish Justin made it home before late thirty so he could come with us more often!

Nice use of your shirt Bud! I learned fast that we have to take sacks to collect our goodies in!

Can't past up a chance to get a picture with Logan. Even when I've been sick all weekend. And even though he looks pretty good in this picture, I took him to the Dr. that day (Monday) and he had strep throat. Poor kid, but a rail ride did help him out!

Hunter said he needed a picture of his "treasures."

One of the FEW things I love about living in a small town.............being able to be out exploring places in the rail within a few minutes of home.

Hunter Conversation...........

Last night as I was tucking Hunter into bed this was our conversation.......... (It was a serious conversation, he wasn't trying to be funny!) Hunter asked, "Did Jesus poop in his pants when he was a two year old?" I said, "Well..................hmmmm.............I don't know if he did or not." Hunter said, "Well Jesus never did anything notty and pooping in your pants is notty. So that means Jesus didn't poop in his pants when he was two." My response was, "that does make sense Hunter!" Hunter then asked me, "Why did I know the answer to that and you didn't Mom?" What do you do................... seriously..................

Is it Hunter's Tongue or a Strawberry?

Hunter loves strawberries! He found this one in the bunch and just couldn't get over the fact that it looked like a tongue! He thought it was just hilarious! It was hilarious! He was hilarious with it in his mouth and trying to talk! It entertained him and us for a good half hour. I love his sense of humor! He brings so much fun and happiness to our little family. Heaven help his school teachers though.......they'll either love him or hate him!

We LOVE Daddy because.............

1. He makes us food. (Hunter)
2. He sometimes takes care of us & plays with us. (Hunter)
3. He takes me to work with him some days. (Hunter)
4. I Love Daddy.....................I Love Chocolate Milk! (Logan)
5. He throws me high up in the air. (Kiersten)
6. He takes me on rail buggy rides. (Kiersten)
7. He takes me to the beach and we look for sea shells together. (Kiersten)
8. He takes us to the sand dunes in Yuma. (Kiersten)
9. Watching basketball with him. (Hunter)
10. He took us to the pool when mom was sick. (Kiersten)
11. He gives us chocolate milk! (Kiersten)
12. He reads us scriptures at night, if he's home. (Kiersten)
Justin is such a wonderful father to our children. I couldn't have asked for a better eternal partner! There are so many things I could list that makes Justin the great dad and husband that he is. He has always taken an active role in caring for the kids, especially considering he's gone so much. When he is home, he is always willing to help bath, feed, play with and take care of our kids. I love him so much for being such a help to me. He never complains if dinner is fish sticks and macaroni and cheese or even Top Roman. I love that he makes it a point to tell me how much he loves being home with us, when he is able to get away from the office early. When we have newborns he is so good to take them when they are fussy (which is 95% of the time with the babies we've had!). He'll get up with them in the night after I feed them if they are still fussy. He supports me with things I am interested in. I love him because he is my right hand man with my photography business and is always thinking of ways to make my business better. I love that he doesn't care what other people think of him. He'll dress up in a clown costume for his kids birthday party and do it with a smile! He dresses up with our family on Halloween in whatever crazy costume idea I have came up with. He makes me feel good about myself 100% of the time! Thanks for being so good to me and the kids! We love you!
The kiddos eating popcorn while watching Enchanted. They love to pretend like they are at the movies!
We love you Daddy!

Few Extra Pics

Justin, Travis and me. Travis is such a fun person to be around. We wish him well on his move to Maine.

Kiersten and Ryan..................OK so this is her new "boyfriend." She just had a great time with him. He was such a good sport as the kids basically treated him like a jungle gym! Hunter asked just today, when he could see the tall guy from the reunion. I wasn't sure who he was talking about, but when he saw Ryan's picture he said, "THAT GUY, THAT GUY..............WHEN CAN I SEE HIM!"

Reunion Talent Show

I now realize that I didn't take very many pictures of the talent show. I must have been trying to keep my kids from being too distracting!
Travis Hollar showing us his juggling tricks. He's really good and can even juggle with fire sticks. It's a good thing he doesn't live close to us because I would be trying to talk him into being the entertainment at one of my kids birthday parties!

Kiersten and Kaely doing a dance to Hannah Montana! About 1 hour before the talent show Kiersten decides she wants to do a dance with Kaely. She only practices a few times, but Kaely helped her out and they both did such a wonderful job! I was happy for Kiersten because she wanted to do it so bad but was so nervous about it and had little practice. She pulled it off with flying colors! Good job girls!

Aunt Kiki had practiced a song to sign language with all the grand kids. They were so cute up there! I love sign language..................it was the foreign language I took at ASU!

Once Hunter saw Kiersten do a talent, he wanted to do something as well. We hadn't planned on doing anything....................so............he decide to sing "Tell Me the Stories of Jesus." He has such a cute little voice with his adorable "Hunter accent." It was priceless!

Arts & Craft Time

Isn't he CUTE? The double candy neckless thing he has going on really goes with his hat don't ya think? Totally styling Bud!

Kiersten's forced smile, she wasn't as happy with her hat because it wasn't perfect in her opinion. But after several of the staff members there complimented her on her hat............then she just loved it! I wish I could take a bottle of self confidence and poor it on her! She's so wonderful and she doesn't even know it!!!

I thought these hat were very cute and the kids loved making them!

CRASHED OUT!

After a day of fun at the Museum the kids totally crashed out on the drive back to Tooele. It was really funny to watch them fall asleep, lay on each other and try to get comfortable. Wish I would have video taped it!

The Alternative Plans for Saturday @ Reunion

The original plans were to head to Grandma B's cabin, but the weather was cold, so everyone was kind of on their own. We decided we'd take the kids back to the Children's Discovery Museum @ Gateway. Many of the cousins went as well. Our kids loved it just as much the second time especailly with fun cousins to play with this time!

We lost Logan for a few minutes............but soon found him in the lockers. Oh to be able to fit in one of these lockers.

Once Hunter knew where Logan was he decided to join in the fun. It did look like a lot of fun!

Logan loved the little grocery store! He especailly liked pushing the red buttons that made "announcements" over a speaker system.

Jacob was so cute dressed up the the fireman costume. He said, "Becky take my picture cause I look good!" The smile on his face says it all!

Hunter and Katelynn playing with the water table. I love Hunter's goofy facial expressions!

Kiersten loved having Kaely to play with. It was fun to watch them play house, go to the grocery store and play cowgirl. At one point Kiersten was the "Mom" and she told me, "man being the Mom is HARD!" I totally agree!

Some of my favorite pics of me & Logan @ the Children's Museum

Things I love about Logan....
1. His BIG SMILES
2. When he jumps up and down when he gets mad (it really is impressive how high he can jump).
3. How friendly he is to everyone he sees.
4. Watching him play quietly with a car, truck or train.
5. Waking up to him singing Jingle Bells on the monitor, yep he still loves that song and its June!
6. How he likes to get in my arms and pretend to be a baby.
7. Remembering how blessed we are that he's with us.
8. Hearing him first thing in the morning say "Mommy I hungy, Mommy I hungy, Mommy I hungy!" he says it so cute!
9. The way he gets so excited to see me even if I was only in the other room for 5 minutes. He'll outstretch his arms, get all excited and say "MOMMY," and give me a huge hug like he hasn't seen me for weeks. He is even more dramatic when Justin comes home.
10. Watching him follow Hunter and Kiersten around like a puppy dog.

This is my favorite shot!

Everyone need a little love from Logan. He is just so dang lovable!
