Ooh La La...

Look at this Hottie!
Mr. Grant was so so happy when I found this baby toy in our storage unit. It was Kiersten's when she was a baby and has been enjoyed by all the kids. The older kids were just as excited about it. Basically it makes a lot of noise so kids of every age like playing with it! Mr. Grant is getting closer and closer to walking everyday. Oh and he is going to be a little mess when he does..........heaven help me!

"You Really Made That Mom?"

You would have thought I created something amazing the way my kids responded when I served them this fruit parfait. They couldn't believe I made it for breakfast............guess I am not a very impressive breakfast maker or something. This is now their most requested breakfast.........and strawberry banana yogurt smoothies come in a very close second! Glad I could impress my kids for once!

Can't Believe I Have a NINE YEAR OLD!!!

I just don't feel old enough to have a nine year old....but I am loving it! Kiersten is a tremendous help with everything! She saw a picture of me from when I was in middle school and had one different colored converse......so she decided this year that is what she wanted for school shoes. She was so very excited to wear them to school..... Kiersten had asked for a scooter for her birthday like Tasia Shupe has and so that is what we decided to get her...........isn't it adorable!
Kiersten was beyond excited to see that she got her dream present!
Her first question after her screaming and jumping died down was..........."Mom...when can I ride it to school?"
I should have seen that coming right?
For breakfast on her birthday I made her favorite thing.........homemade waffles with strawberries and coolwhip! She was a happy, happy girl and the day had just begun!
Making her wish....
She just had to get a little ride in before she had to leave for school!
Thank you Kiersten for being such a great daughter! I treasure being her mom and am learning so much because of her! Love You!

Logan's First Day of Preschool

Logan was so upset when the other kids started school the week before him. He would ask me daily if it was his turn yet......so we both were so happy for the first day of preschool to be here. Logan just loves his teacher Miss Deann. He had her last year and was so happy to get her again this year. She is amazing with the kids! Logan was especially happy because this year his BEST BUDDY, Ryker Shupe is in the same preschool class. Don't worry Miss Deann knew these boys play everyday together and can be quite silly when they get together. I hope by the end of the year she is as glad she put them in the same class as she is now! But if anyone can handle them..........it would be her!
Silly boys!

Sweet Treats

So on the very first week of school it was Kiersten's teacher, Jessica Skinner's birthday. Kiersten wanted to impress her and asked me to make something really cute for her. Gosh nothing like jumping into the school year with a BANG..........but I got it done and Justin even made up a jingle to go along with it. He is soooo clever! Since I was making the mess I decided to make an extra candy sundae to take to my good friend Mac on her first day of school. She teacher's 2nd grade at Ruth Powell. Justin just adores Mac so he made up a separate jingle just for her..............what a guy! Mac was so shocked and excited when she got her sweet treat!
I am always amazed with Justin's ability to write jingles! Thanks Sweetheart for being so helpful and sweet!
