Quick Trip with Dad

Justin had to drive to Denver, Colorado to pick up a small paver they had bought for the company.
Hunter was in need of a little one on one time with his dad so he went along on the trip.  They were gone for 4 days and Hunter enjoyed every moment of his time with his dad even though 80% of the time they were in the truck.

Justin was a great dad and they traveled 30 minutes in the opposite direction of where they needed to travel just to eat at Serious Texas Barbecue!  Hunter told Justin all about how yummy that restaurant is from our trip last summer to Durango.  It did not disappoint them this time either!  And Hunter was very excite about going........ he call me at home to tell me all about them driving out of their way to eat there!

This is the reason for the whole trip........ to pick up this paver for some smaller jobs they have coming up!  From the sounds of it Justin and Hunter had a great trip!  I think it was good for Justin to get away from the office and the stresses of running a company!  He tried to talk me into going with him but I wasn't interested in that fast of a trip with a 3 month old!

This is sweet Ella....... we send pictures a few times so her daddy could see her cute face!  He missed getting his daily Ella fix!

Happy Easter

This is the cutest bunny ever!

Ella is 3 months old now and weighs 15.5 lbs!!!
She a big bunny :)
I could just nibble on those rolls all day!

She is super ticklish and loves to coo and smile!
She has such a sweet personality.  Except when it comes to eating.  Then she is our "little firecracker".......cause her fuse is short!  But keep her fed and she's a happy camper.

I sure adore this cute little bunny!

Releve Dance Competition Weekend

This weekend started out with me having a doctors appointment on Friday morning.  Kiersten had a dance competition the next day in Gilbert so we just made a weekend of it.   So I brought Kiersten, Logan, Ella and our neighbor, Maranda.  They all watched Ella while I went to my doctor appointment........have I mentioned before how nice it is to have a child old enough to babysit?

Of course our weekend consisted of shopping at the mall.
I was due for some retail therapy!

Ella really loves the mall!
She loved being out and about.  I think she is as sick of the house as I am!

Since I knew we'd have so much time Friday afternoon and Saturday (Kiersten didn't have to be at the competition til 7 pm).  So instead of getting a hotel room which wouldn't be convinient with all these kids and a 3 month old.  Justin had me rent a house in Gilbert.  We got one with a pool and hot tub so the kids would have plenty of stuff to do!  And Ella could take her naps easily while they were enjoying themselves outside!  It was great!!
We bought some food so we wouldn't spend as much eating out.  The kids picked out mint chocolate chip ice cream.  They came in from swimming and asked if they could have some.  When I told them to just take the carton and eat out of it I became a "Cool mom."  They couldn't believe I would let them do that.....

And I couldn't believe they ate the whole carton of ice cream between the three of them!!!

Ella loves to "sit up"........of course she can't do it all by herself yet but don't tell her that!  She loves to be propped up on a couch.

Kiersten and Logan enjoyed having Maranda come with us.  She was a good help with Ella........it was super nice to have a 12 year old and a 13 year old on the trip.

Gosh I LOVE these kids!

Kiersten got Ella to sleep several times by bouncing her around.
Makes Kiersten so happy when that happens!

Kiersten is such a great big sister!
Ella loves her!

The kids were all excited to ride these animals around the mall!

Ella LOVED it!  When the 30 minutes was up and we had to return them she started crying.  It was so funny!

The Releve competition was so much fun!
Kiersten's group dances so well!

Their tap number, Acapella got highest score in their age group so they got a 4 foot tall trophy!
Super cool!

Our Kiersten sure can leap!  She is such a beautiful dancer!

Great job Kiersten!!!

This is their Tap number.....it was so good!  One of my favorites!
It was a great weekend!
So proud of Kiersten and all her hard work!

Quite the Babysitter!!!

There have been a few days that I have left Ella in the family room while I either took a shower or worked out or something.  Every time Logan happens to be in the room as well and I would tell him to come get me if she gets to fussing.

Seems like every time I come back to find Ella propped up on her little pillow watching something on the iPad.

It just cracks me up!  She of course seems to be loving every minute of it!!

Isn't Logan a great babysitter!

This time he propped her up so she could watch the Disney channel with him!
This is just proof for Ella to see how much she is loved my her brothers!
Logan really is a wonderful helper with Ella and always offers to hold her or feed her for me!
Thanks Logan for being so AWESOME!!!

Pretty Loved!

OH MY GOSH ........how adorable is my little Ella Jane!

I sure LOVE this little girl!
And her big brother Hunter is pretty in love as well!
Hunter told me, "Mom you gotta take a picture with me and Ella.  Her outfit is sweet!"
He loves to make her laugh by scaring her........it is pretty cute to watch and she sure giggles.  I love watching each of my kids and how much they are enjoying this sweet new baby.  It's fun to have older kids........they are all so very helpful.  And man when little Ella "speaks" they jump.  She sure is use to getting entertained because she truly has 4 siblings who entertain her every moment they are home!  Ella and I can't wait for it to be summer so they can be home more!

Little Pranksters!

Woke up April 1st to several pranks played on Justin and myself!
Guess Kiersten and Hunter stayed up the night before so we'd have some tricks to find in the morning.

This would be my cell phone wrapped with rubber bands!
A LOT of rubber bands!

This would be Justin's cell phone and tablet wrapped with rubber bands!
They also put Vaseline on our bathroom door handles, duck taped the toilet seat down, wrapped a rubber band around the sprayer at the kitchen sink.  So when I was rinsing out my cup this morning the water sprayed ALL OVER ME!!!  Later that morning I found that they had taken the batteries out of the TV remotes.
They had a BLAST doing all these tricks on us!  They were so excited for it to be April Fools.  They helped Logan make oreos and replace the white creme with toothpaste so he could trick his school teacher, Mrs. Skinner.  Logan had a great time pulling that prank.........I heard it really got her.  She was not expecting that.
I knew the kids really wanted Justin and I to retaliate that evening.  So I put a fake snake in Kiersten toilet.  I also put small plastic scorpions at the foot of the kids beds under their covers.  This really scared Kiersten!!!  Justin went in and put shaving cream on their faces when they went to sleep.  Any way it was a good day with lots of fun!  Next year Justin and I are going to bring our A game...........so watch our Cluff kids!!!!
I love that our kids initiated the fun.  They have great personalities for sure!
