Mexico Part 4

It was great to go with people that knew so much about the area.  One nice thing was they could show us where all the yummy restaurants were.  This is Combo Taco and it was delicious!  Their shrimp tacos are to die for!!!

Love this man of mine!

Grant loved the glass soda bottles that you got at all the taco shops!  He was the soda guy and would collect everyones glasses and return them to the waiter!  He was so cute and very excited about this "job" of his!  Every time we went out to eat he loved doing this!

Hunter admires Chase so much!!
Chase is a great sport and even let Hunter sleep in his tent with him several of the nights!

While at Combo Taco we had a little arm wrestling match going on.... I am sad, but not surprised to say, I lost to Chase!  Justin on the other hand beat Chase!

Everyone laughed and had a great time!

Logan is all smiles and Hunter is as serious as can be!  Typical of their personalities........ Hunter is very competitive and Logan is all about the fun!

The Rogers showed us the best place in town to get fresh tortillas!

They make the tortillas right when you order them...... they were melt in your mouth delicious!

This is me and Ella with Carmen.  She is the one that owns the tortilla shop!  She is the sweetest lady ever and she just LOVED Ella!

I truly enjoyed having my daily mango on the beach!  So did all my kids!

This is a beautiful sight!  It's cool how they cut the mangos into a flower!

You could get them drizzled with Lime and sprinkled with salt........ Oh it was Heavenly!!!

Logan enjoying his daily mango.  You could get 2 for $5.......but $5 I spent in Mexico!!

Some of the older Ajamin boys and Ferguson boys were fishing off the beach.  They caught several sting rays.  They cut one open and inside they found a few baby sting rays.  It was pretty cool to see the baby sting rays.... They are translucent when they are developing.

You'll never guess where we went while in Mexico!

We got to got to Lucha Libre right in Mexico!

The posters all said it started at 7 p.m. so we got there early to get seats, there wasn't assigned seating.  Apparently in Mexico everything starts an hour late and everyone know it.  Only crazy white people were there early.  It didn't actually start until after 8:00!!!

Bodie is such a good sport!  He let Grant hang all over him during the whole wrestling match...... which was about 3 1/2 hours including the time we were waiting for it to start.

The night before the the Lucha Libre we watched Nacho Libre, the movie, with someones projector.  They projected the movie onto the side of a inclosed car trailer.  How many time do you get the chance to go to Lucha Libre while in Mexico?  Such a funny movie.... we all laughed and laughed even though everyone had seen it multiple times!

It was fun to be sitting so close to the action!

The kids can now say they have went and watch Lucha Libre in Mexico..... kinda cool!

At the end was the Psycho Clown wrestlers.... they pretty much freaked me out.  They were the creepiest clowns I have ever seen!!!
The whole show got crude at the end and I wish we would have gotten up and left.  We did get up and leave before it was fully over, but I regret watching as much crude stuff go on.

The Point in Mexico

One night we went with Tressie and Jason, Betsy and  Steve and their families to eat at The Point.
The view is what makes the restaurant for sure!

Man I'd love to live by the beach!

Love this man of mine!

Maranda and Kiersten..... two peas in a pod!

I actually think Chase enjoyed Hunter a little too.  I guess it's fun to have an admirer!

Ella was all smiles with Tressie playing with her!

Yummy food....

Beautiful sunset....

Listening to the Mexican music...

and dinner with these two adorable people.....

Made for a GREAT night!

The Mexican music was fun and added to the great dinner!

Chase is such a good sport to always be so silly with Hunter!
Hunter LOVES him!

What a beautiful sunset!

Chase, also know as Hunter's adopted older brother!

Great picture of the Smith's

Tressie and Jason have been our friends for a long time now and we just love them!
Their friendship means a lot to us!

See told ya Chase is a great kid..... he puts up with all of Hunter's crazy ideas!

YEAH Thrifty's Ice Cream..... I was super excited about this!

They even use the same old ice cream scoopers like they did at the old Thrifty grocery store in Safford.  Brought back so many wonderful memories of getting ice cream when I use to go to the store with my mom!  The only bummed was that they didn't have the cinnamon swirl ice cream..... that was my FAVORITE ice cream EVER!!!

Love a little boy holding such a colorful ice cream cone.
His sun kissed skin is adorable as well!

It was another great day in Mexico!

Mexico Part 3

I wish I would have taken a picture of us at the church in Mexico.  It was a neat experience for sure.  The chapel was completely FULL.......... they had to keep sitting up more and more chairs!  There were so many American families there.  It was a testimony building experience for me to see so many families that were in Mexico for the Memorial Day holiday and would take the time to go to church!  Even though we couldn't understand what they were saying (Justin understood most of it but not the kids and I), you could still feel the spirit.  The songs especially brought the spirit and it was neat to recognize the songs even though they were being sung in Spanish.

So here are the boys church shirts and ties........not often do we find these in the toy hauler!
So glad we attended church in Mexico!

Ella just wanted to get down and get the sand all the time!  When I would put her feet down to touch it she would just kick and kick.  She wasn't sure what to make of the sand!

These are Tressie's toes.  She got a pedicure on the beach.  The added details on her toes were free..........yep that would be SAND stuck to the nail polish!  Hahaha..... We just died laughing about her toes!

We all enjoyed going to the "dirt mall"
Justin, Ella, Grant, Hunter and Colter Mack

There was lots of fun things to look at.....
Sweet hat Hunter.... but no I am not buying it for you!

Ella thought the dirt mall was fun but hot!  It wasn't as fun as the Chandler Mall that's for sure!
So many people in their little shops commented on Ella.
Most said how beautiful she was and of course how fat she is!
"Gordo" was the word we heard a lot!

See told ya they had tons of fun stuff to look at....a dinosaur made out of sea shells!

Hunter picked out some neat leather flip flops and a souvenir and he also got this hat!  I think he looks cool in his Mexico hat...... it will make a wonderful fishing hat!

I admire this man, Marteen, a great deal and I don't know much about him!  What I do know about him is that he spends his days selling Popsicles and collecting cans, up and down the beach in Rocky Pointe.  I also know that his feet are turned backwards.  It literally looks like his feet are facing the opposite direction of his body.  Look closely at this picture and you can see his feets deformity.  What I admire is that he still gets out and works to provide for his family regardless of his handicap.  He's not begging on the corner like a lot of people do in Mexico (and heck in the US too).  He is out working!
I was amazed!  We could learn a lot from Marteen!

Logan enjoying the ocean waves!

Logan and Colter
Our kids sure enjoyed playing the Justin and Heather Mack's kids!

The is Callie Rogers, also know as Grant's babysitter on our Mexico trip!  He LOVES her!  She was such a sweetheart to watch after him!  She treated him so good and will make a great babysitter when she gets older!  I did pay her a little because she really did help me with Grant!

Had fun hanging out with Tressie!

My sweet Ella loved watching the waves crash down!

I LOVE this little girl!  She makes me a very happy mommy!!

Hunter with Chicken Bone
Hunter loved this little girl!  He was so nice and played with her, helped her and was like a nice big brother to her on the trip!

Chicken Bone is really a ham......... her nickname should be Ham cause she can really ham it up!

Kiersten had a great time with Maranda

I love pictures of my boys playing on the beach with their trucks!  I'm so glad I now have one of Mr. Grant!

Doesn't Hunter look like one of those Asian fisherman with his hat on out in the water?
He found a large octopus but it was already dead when he found it!

Hunter is always catching some type of animal!

The kids all liked viewing the octopus up close.

Me, Ella, Shaylyn's baby boy and Heather Mack

Awww his giving Ella a kiss!
We called these two boyfriend and girlfriend because he is only 2 months older and he is cubby just like her!

Ella did like the water on her feet and legs.
She sure has a good looking daddy!!!

Beach picture 2014

Love these babies of mine!!!
We had so much fun on this trip and made so many new friends!
Thanks to everyone for being so kind to our family and kids!  It's like we've been a part of their Mexico traveling group for forever........ we fit right in!
It was great!
