We have loved this first season of Hunter playing school basketball!
So grateful for family that comes and supports each other! Hunter was so excited that Uncle Matt would come watch him, and of course everyone else! But Uncle Matt is a pretty big deal!
AS the basketball season is coming to an end I can't help but be proud of Hunter! He is a good two feet shorter than his teammates and he does his best to not let that get in his way. He works his butt off and has really improved this season. He gets up at 4:30 in the morning, ALL ON HIS OWN, to get to his basketball practice. He catches a ride with the assistant coach and honestly we don't even wake up to know if he got up and went. Is he one of the star players? Absolutely not. Does he always get a lot of playing time? No and we totally understand that. But his attitude to get better and focus on the playing time he does get has really surprised us all. The last two games he has gotten to play a lot and has really done a great job! He really hustles out there on the court.
We look forward to many more years of watching him be a baller!!!

These Riders took 2nd in the championship game. They won every team except Safford. Way to go Pima Rough Riders!
Following the championship game, Coach Judd sent me a text letting me know that is was wonderful having Hunter on the team and that Hunter should always look at his size as a strength. He said he can't wait to coach him again next year! Told me to have Hunter work on his speed!
