Light Parade

We helped decorate a float for the Light Parade for the kids school. We just love the school and all the wonderful teachers and aides that work there. It has been a great school! We decorated the float at the school at 8:00 in the morning and it was only 19 degrees! Seriously, that was the temperature when we started decorating..................holy freezing I tell you!! It was a lot of fun thought!

The PTO was very creative with the title for our float. It actually won for MOST CREATIVE!!! The kids were so excited to hear that it had won. Justin pulled the float with his truck and I road on the float with Stacy Moore and the boys. It was a good time!!

A Sombraro For Santa

This year the kids school play was called, "A Sombrero for Santa." It was so dang cute and all the kids did so well. Some of the kids did little Mexican dances which were very well done. Mrs. Delanie is a wonderful music and Spanish teacher. I love that the kids have to talk Spanish class starting in kindergarten.

This is Kendall Moore, Hunter's good friend, he did the Mexican hat dance. It was very cute! He did a great job!

Mrs. Delanie made all the skirts, ties, vests and bows. WOW what a great teacher she is.

The donkey was two kids and was hilarious walking around!

Hunter Was an Elf in Santa's workshop. He is in the middle dressed in green working on the big green dinosaur. Logan was so excited that Hunter used his dinosaur for the play. Hunter did a great job singing!

This is the end song...........all the kids did such a great job!

Kiersten was one of the narrators. She had three big parts to memorize and she did a wonderful job. She was bummed that she didn't get to be on the stage because they had the narrator's stand below. I couldn't believe my shy little Kiersten wanted to be up on the stage. She can still be quitge shy at times but she is getting more and more comfortable being in front of people!

What To Do With Mr. Hunter????

Hunter is such a funny kid! He loves dressing up!! He loves this Elf costume and wants to wear it to school one day...................we'll see . Hunter is in Kindergarten and loves school. We love his teacher, Mrs. Willis. After she and Mrs. Lines, the 1st Grade teacher have been observing Hunter the past few weeks they decided they wanted to advance him to the 1st Grade. So the past week Hunter has been in Mrs. Lines class. She is a fabulous teacher and Hunter already had a crush on her. He did great I am told and Hunter was thrilled as you could imagine. I hope that it is the right decision in the end. For now it's probably great that he will be in a class where he will be challenged and not bored, but what about the years to come? I hope we don't regret it once he is in high school. We shall see how it plays out the rest of this year and go from there I guess. If only we could see the future huh? If anyone out there has words of wisdom please send them my way!

Shootin'

We I was going up we always went shooting on Thanksgiving, so we have decided that's a good tradition to carry on. Our other tradition was picking pecans at Uncle Bill's. but we decided it was too cold for Grant so we opted to skip that tradition this year. Justin and Quincy took Hunter and Logan shooting.

What a STUD! Logan had a blast! Hunter did a great job I am told. His very first shot he hit the soda can and knocked it over! He was so excited.

Quincy is a wonderful Uncle! The boys just love him!

And of course collecting the shells is great fun too!

Am I Finally Four Mommy?

Logan's actually birthday fell on Thanksgiving this year. He was very confused and distraught when we told him he wasn't yet four at his birthday party. That just doesn't make sense in four year old land! Everyday since his party he has asked me when he will be four. All day Thanksgiving morning he would ask, "Mommy am I four yet?"

my reply, "Yes you are finally four today!"

Logan's responds was an energetic, "Tank you Mommy, Tank you!"

It was as if he thought I was the one keeping him from being four and I had finally decided to give in or something!

He was very excited we had saved our gifts for to open on his actual birthday! Yeah...........a remote control car, now he can race Hunter! I love Hunter's face. You'd of thought it was his birthday as well.

Wow Logan that's a ton of cars!

This was his big surprise and he loved it and all his new cars. Logan can play with hot wheels cars for hours so this is a good investment!

Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving 2009

We ate at Grammie and Grampie Cluff's, then had seconds at Grammie Boswells. All the food was wonderful and we ate way too much as usual! Me and my four babies!! They each bring me great joy! Not that it's easy but I am trying hard to enjoy what I can, when I can...............thats the advice I got from a very wise friend! I will someday want to go back to the years when my kids were little and still liked me! Hunter did a dang good job taking our picture!

Logan's Thanksgiving Feast

I was excited to be Logan's "Special Guest" at his Thanksgiving Feast for Preschool! We had a fun time together. He got to write one thing he was thankful for on a feather and add it to the turkey. He told me to write, "Jesus" on his feather. So cute! Lovable Logan! What a sweet smile this little man has!

Steph and Aiden were there, as well as Tressie and Melanie and Rue and Camryn. It was great to see them all and enjoy an early Thanksgiving feast. It was delicious food!
