It was nerd day at school today and I'd say Logan nailed it!  He picked out this outfit all by himself.

This was him when I picked him up from school!

He made such a cute nerd!!
We are excited school is almost out!!  We are all ready for summer!  Yippee!!

Happy Mother's Day!

I love all these little humans!!  Okay Kiersten is taller than me ....sad momma day, but not surprising!

I am so grateful these five beautiful children chose to come to our home. Ella took a little convincing, but she finally came :)
They are my everything!  They make me smile, laugh, cry, yell, want to be better, go crazy, love harder, and so proud!!!

This is typical emotions around our house....lol!
I love my crazy life and I am so grateful to be a mom!  I am also blessed to have a wonderful, caring, loving mother myself. My mom is the most selfless person I know. She shows gratitude for even the smallest of things and it such an example to me!  I love her so much!

I am also grateful this Mother's Day for Justin!  We definitely have our struggles but I wouldn't want anyone else to go through this journey with!
I am thankful for all the beautiful women in my life that have strengthen and loved me!
HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!!

Dance Recital Time

I always love dance recital day!

Four kids in dance and 3 in company makes for a busy day full of recitals but I wouldn't want it any other way.

Danika, Kiersten, and Kallie
Kiersten has great friends that always support her. I love that.

Alec Judd came to watch Kiersten and scored some points by bringing her flowers.

Ryann was so sweet and bought the boys candy bouquets and she bought flowers for me. She is so sweet and thoughtful.

This years Beauty and the Beast ballet production was phenomenal!!

Kiersten was one of the main characters, Lumiere. She was breathtaking!!  No one would know that this was her first year learning pointe.

This production lasted 30 minutes and honestly I could have watch another hour of it. Everyone was sad that it wasn't longer. Grammie Cluff cried watching Kiersten dance. It really was that impressive!

Everything about this performance was outstanding!

The costumes were perfect, the choreography was beautiful, and the dancers all did amazing!

All our kids performed wonderful today. It is always a proud day as a parent to watch your kid rock the stage. Of course I think my kids are by far the greatest!!!
Love my dancers!

Early Birthday Surprise for Kiersten

Kiersten will be turning 16 this August!  Geez where has the time gone?
Well we have been looking for her a little truck for about 5 months now. We've came across some good deals and dealt with some idiots on Craigslist. Nothing seemed to be working out!
It gets old wasting your time talking to people who in the end don't want to meet up to sell their vehicles. I don't get it?!?
Well Logan found out his Math teacher Mr. Cooper was selling his truck and for only $4,500. Perfect!  I was thinking it must be kind of crappy but figured we should take a look.....

Imagine our surprise went we find it to be a 2004 Toyota Tundra Limited Edition. It's 4 wheel drive, leather seats, has a sun roof, the whole back window rolls down, and it has TV's in the head rests. CRAZY!!!!
It does have some dings in it and it isn't perfect. But for the price it was a smokin deal!  Only 119K miles on it and for a Toyota that's nothing.
Needless to say when I had my dad look it over he said if we didn't buy it he was going to. So we bought it and Kiersten is THRILLED!!!!

BYU Woman's Conference

I was super excited when Misty Smart asked me if I wanted to go to woman's conference at BYU with her. We asked Tressie Smith and Jessica Little to come with us.

The weather was gorgeous up the Provo. Woman's conference was fun!

These ladies are the best!
Us four really were a great combination of personalities. So easy and so much fun!

After woman's conference on Friday we are at Brick Oven. So yummy!!! Endless pizza, pasta and salad. Crazy good!

The best part of the trip wasn't even the woman's conference it was these ladies right here!

Tressie hooked us up with staying at her cousins house Tiffany Kiem was the best host!!  They live in Sandy and their home and neighborhood is absolutely gorgeous!

We stayed an extra day so that we could have a free day. We are lung at the Lion House.

Their chicken pot pie was amazing!  And of course their famous rolls were yummy!

The flowers around temple square were breathtaking!

I didn't know you could travel to Utah and have to use the saying "what happens in Utah stays in Utah" but this trip proved other wise.
Feeling pretty lucky to get to have their ladies as my friends!  I sure love them!

Just seeing this picture makes me laugh out loud!!!
Tressie was freaked out over having to wear these shoes to the temple. We didn't make plans to go to the temple prior to leaving for Utah so no one had church clothes. Tressie was the only one without cute sandals and she was hilarious about it. She made us crop the picture of our feet because of it.
Then Jessie sees how weird her toes are and also insists we crop the picture. We did and of course I cropped the picture so it just showed our feet. It was so funny!

Doing a live session in the Salt Lake Temple was different than I had imagined but a neat experience. So glad for good friends that want to go to the temple on a girls trip!  It was refreshing!

Funnies story goes along with this picture. We were at City Creek Mall in Salt Lake and  well we kind of forgot where we parked our car. Hahaha!  We literally walked around the parking lot for about 20 minutes when finally a young boy come driving by in a golf cart.

He said we was only allowed to take 3 people at a time but we flirted a little and he agreed to take us all.  He helped us find out car. He is our hero. Misty told him she "would French kiss him if she wasn't married."
Oh my gosh we all about died. It was hilarious. I tipped him and we were on our way. Laughed so hard!

Misty and I wore the fancy bathrobes from our closet. We even wore them to the gas station to get ice cream one night at like 11:00. Honestly on this trip I peed my pants twice from laughing so hard :)

Tressie needed a little pep talk. The kind that only girl friends can give you.
We had The. Best. Time.
Tiffany recently graduated from a healing arts school. She checked our chakras and got muscle tested for what Bach flower oils our bodies needed.
It was mind blowing!!  The descriptions of the individual flower oils that each of us needed matched to a T. They fit each of us perfectly. They described what emotional state you are in. Each of us cried when we got done hearing the meaning behind the oils.
It was such a wonderful trip!  Got to know Jessie better and I totally love her!  She might be quiet sometimes but she is such a fun person. I wouldn't change a thing about the trip.
Okay I would change the fact that the bus ride from the conference center to the BYU football stadium took 30 minutes and the AC wasn't on. Besides that, it was perfect!

Better Than Any Bed and Breakfast

We were lucky to get to stay with Tressie's cousins while we were in Utah for the woman's conference.

The house is pretty from the outside but man the inside is so sweet.

I just loved everything about this place.

I mean what is not to love about this house!?!

This shot could be in a magazine for reals. Beautiful!

This is the master bedroom...

I love that they have cool chairs.

This was a bedroom in the basement. I love it!!

This little entry way is just an entrance in to the wing where some of their kids sleep. I fell in love with this area especially!

Tiffany office is perfect!!  I dream of having an office where I can practice therapy and hope it immulates many aspects of this room. Tiffany opened my mind to lots of opportunity ideas and really inspired me. I enjoyed our time with her probably even more than I classes at woman's conference. I think I needed to meet her more than anything.
It really was Better than staying in a bread and breakfast.

So This Just Happened Today

These two just got braces today!
Hunter got the full set and Logan is doing phase one to straighten out his top front teeth.

We are so lucky that Dr. Smith wants to trade out braces for dirt and concrete. Sure works good for us since most likely all 5 kids will end up having braces.

These two were pretty excited! We will see how they feel this evening....ouch!
