"Ate My Dinor All Dawn Mom!"

So the other night Logan wasn't quite fond of the dinner I had made. Everyone else was done but he remained at the table to finish his dinner. Mija happened to be over playing with the kids........they love their dog Mija and so do Justin and I! She is the PERFECT pet!
After Logan had been up at the table a while I hear Logan calling Mija to him. I don't think much about it and continue doing things on my computer around the corner. After a few minutes Logan yells with excitement..."Mom I Ate My Dinnor All Dawn!"
I go to see and Mija is licking the plate.
I just laughed and laughed...
Logan reassured me that Mija only ate a "wittle bit."
Can you imagine what I am in for....this is Logan at 4 years old!

LOVE My Mom!

I just adore my Mother!
She is such an amazing woman. She thinks of such fun things to make my kids feel special. She wanted so bad for Kiersten to come ride bikes with her over the new bridge. They have a bike path and everything from their house to town. They have decided that one of these Fridays they will ride their bikes to my moms work together and then Kiersten will stay and help in Mrs. Sullivan's and Mrs. Lewis's classes until my mom is off at 1:30....then they'll ride their bikes back home.
Kiersten can't wait to do this and keeps reminding me about it!
My Mother is just the best!
There is so much about her that makes her fabulous it's hard to write it all down and not feel like you are missing a million things.
She is always doing something for someone else. She is a great example of Service!
Whenever someone calls and asks her to do something she does it......always!
She took 5 little kids to church every Sunday BY HERSELF!! Now seriously how many of us would have the strength and patience to do this the whole time we raised our family? Simply Amazing.
She gives great advice and is famous for telling us kids to "Kill them with KINDNESS!" when someone had been unkind to us.
She had FHE and daily scripture study as long as I can remember as a child....BY HERSELF! No husband helping her, reminding her or even participating in these church activities. (My dad is great just not active in the church) Any church calling she has she does it to the best of her ability.........giving 110%!
She has even taken Visiting Teaching serious forever....I can remember going with her to visit the sister's on her beat as a little girl.
She is constantly bearing her testimony to me every chance she gets.
When I feel down and voice my concerns to my mom about how I just don't measure up.... her exact words seem to always be "You are as good as GOLD.............now don't forget it!"
She has endured some unspeakable things throughout her life and still remains positive about it all.
She loves the Savior.
And instilled in me as a child a love for Him as well.
She loves those around her always.
She is a great mother and I am blessed to have her!
There is so so much more I could write about her.....This is just the tip of the ice berg!
Thank You Mom!

Hunter's Turn For A SURPRISE!!

After Hunter opened his air soft gun at our house....we told him there was one more gift for him at Grammy Boswell's so off we went.
"This is just what I have been dreaming of!" were Hunter's exact words. He got a little electric motorcycle. He did great on it! I have to admit it was a gift for myself as well. That thing is quite fun I tell you!
Goodin' Good Bud!
And he's Off....
It was so fun to hear Hunter talk about how surprised he was and that he just couldn't believe he actually had an electric motorcycle. So Fun!

Hhhmmmm I think I like it....

So Mr. Grant's most favorite thing in the house is to play in the dish washer.
He is just in heaven when the door is open to the dish washer. And I swear he can hear that door open from a mile away cause once I open it he rushes to it. Such a sweet little guy!
This is Mr. Grant's "Happy Place"
Just a word of advice....take out the steak knifes prior to letting your baby play in the dish washer. Can cause a heart attack to come into the kitchen and see your baby sitting on the dish washer door with the sharp end of a steak knife pointed towards him.
Hypothetically speaking that is.......don't call CPS now...

Now you could scare the neighbors with this one....

Now that is a HUGE frog! I spotted this is the middle of the road as Mac drove Kiersten and I home from her house. I scream when I saw it in the road because I couldn't believe how big it looked............that made Mac scream louder than me.......well because she's Mac......then Kiersten began to scream..........it was actually quite funny! All three of us screaming and only I knew why.... Everyone was impressed with the frog and the boys even let it go the next morning so that maybe other kids could find it and have a fun surprise!

Happy Happy Birthday Hunter Dear....

One day before Hunter's actual birthday we let him open his gifts from us. We were leaving to go camping on his actual birthday so he was totally excited......it was like his birthday went on and on he said. Oh My What is IT???
An Air Soft GUN!!! YIPEE!
The Moore boy showed up at the door with a cupcake complete with a lit candle for Hunter to blow out!
What a good looking group of boys! This was such a cute idea to do for a friend........thanks Stacy I might have to borrow your idea sometime!

Another PARTY!

August and September are nothing but parties at our house. We decided to have Kiersten and Hunter's family party combined since we weren't having all the cousins to either of their other parties. We had the same theme as Kiersten's "I Scream You Scream We ALL Scream For Ice Cream!" Party. We actually had it the day after Kiersten's so the decorations and stuff were still out. The cousins loved the water relay....they chose to have it be girls against boys... Jacob and Kiersten
Kaely trying to get those swimming trunks on fast...
Avry would steal the ball while the kids were getting on all their stuff.......then they couldn't find the ball to put between their lags to get back to their team. It was so funny.........she did it several times!
The girls colored their beach balls and the boys got to swim in the pool.
My Besties......Mac and Tif! Always a PARTY with these two!
JP and Mac and my sexy husband in his work shirt.
Mac was the official Ice Cream Parlor Gal.....She dished up the ice cream and helped the kids with their toppings. What a great friend she is!
These are the SAD last 5 kids to get ice cream.......bummer!
But they were good sports about it!
Enjoying their ice cream....Uncle Quincy is in the red!
Should have asked him to turn around for this pic.
Kiersten and Hunter made out like bandits with their gifts!
Mr. Grant posing as a sweet little girl!
It was fun to have our family together!
