Hunter is a rabbit lover!
They found a momma rabbit today and wanted to keep it as a pet. Several hours later they found 3 baby bunnies in a hole in the ground. They were indeed the momma rabbits babies. So Hunter begged us to let him keep them all.
Seriously how could you turn down that face!
I don't know because I can't!

The kids have all had a great time feeding the baby rabbits with a bottle, after the mother died.
We were not successful in keeping the sweet baby rabbits alive, but it wasn't because we didn't try our best! The kids, especially Hunter and Kiersten took great care of these baby rabbits. I told them the baby rabbits would have died faster in the wild so they shouldn't feel bad. But I had them promise me we will just try getting real pet bunnies to care for. Especially since the kids earned a REAL rabbit cage for getting straight A's.....all 3 kids!!! Great job kids! You are each so smart!
