Logan's got a problem...........

Is it a problem when your 3 year old can chug a beer? Root beer that is! He even holds it like a true alcoholic! It's cute to hear Logan say, "I Love So-a!"

What a fun trip to the DUNES!

Justin and I sure enjoyed getting away to the dunes. Riding is quite the outlet for the both of us. And we both could use the time to destress and get rid of some built up frustrations. So it was great to have the chance to get away. We had a great trip with all the Harmon families! We enjoy doing stuff with Richard and Stacie and are always excited we they invite us to the dunes. It was a great trip..............no one got hurt, the quads ran good, the only problem was that the rear driverside tire of the rail fell off. Wouldn't you know it happened while I was driving it. Good thing we were only in first gear! It's always an adverture!
What a handsome guy!
Hunter picked out his own flag for the quad. Wouldn't you know it was a skull.
Logan was being cute in the chair and asked me to take his picture..............yea they are trained!
Of course the men had to watch the Cadinals game.............wouldn't want to miss it! This is Justin, Grumpy, and Richard hangin out watching the game. The rest of the crew is inside watching it. More than half of the gang had already headed back home. Kiersten and Megan taking a break from the quads to watch a movie. Kiersten really enjoyed playing playing volleyball with Kamala.
Hunter enjoying the great buy I found at Target. This Imaginex set use to be $40, but was on sale for $10. The kids love the Imaginex stuff and Kiersten thought we should get something for the boys we had left back at camp. Kiersten and I went into Yuma to have a date while the men waited for the game to start. We shopped, ate and enjoyed some girl time. Kiersten is great fun to shop with. Yes I have trained her well. I know it will come back to bite me in the butt when she is a teenager, but for now it is great fun!
Logan is such a fun boy. I just wish I could get him to stop screaming so much! Will I someday miss that? I actually don't think I will. I might miss the little fingerprints, but the screaming I am not to sure about.
Justin looks high and Logan looks happy! Like I said it was a great dunes trip.........LOL!
.

OK so I am an Aderaline Junkie...........

One of my goals was to learn to ride a wheelie and last year dune season I learned how. What a thrill!!! My kids think its cool so that's a great bonus! Yes this is me jumping my quad. I am pretty much like a little kid................give me one good jump and I am entertained for hours. I love the rush of jumping! I want my kids to remember my love of adventure and of life. I hope for them that they find the same through out their lives! Nice Air. I know it doesn't look high, but I assure you it feels high. Especially considering it was a 15 ft jump to get to this point. Lovin' Every Minute of It!

Bunny Hill & Bunny Bowl

This is the Bunny Hill, we take the kids here to ride down the hill. It only takes them one time and all fear is gone!
Hunter riding down the hill he thought was "too tall for a 5 year old!" But after the first run down he changed his mind, "It's not too tall mom!" Kiersten wasn't scared at all to go down. She is a really good rider!
Hunter having his turn on the Bunny Bowl. The little 50 wouldn't climb very high, but Hunter did a great job riding and not getting it stuck!
This is a picture of the Bunny Hill & Bunny Bowl. This is the first year our kids rode in a bowl, needless to say they were pretty thrilled!
Kiersten riding in the bowl. She was awesome at riding in the bowls. Bowls are exactly what they sound like, but made out of sand. This is a small bowl, picture this 3 times this size and twice as steep! They can be pretty intense, and OH SO FUN!! The trick to riding in a bowl is to stay on the throttle! You feel like slowing down when riding sideways on a sand bank, but if you do your quad slides. So the #1 rule to riding quads, applies to the bowls as well.........
RULE #1
When it doubt, lay on the throttle!!!
Kiersten thought the bowl was great fun! She takes directions well and never had a problem sliding. I think she likes speed.................I don't know where she gets that from?

What would camping and the dunes be without SMORES!

Our friends still weren't there yet so we decided to make some smores while we waited.
Hunter was hilarious while roasting his marshmallows. He got that contagious laugh every time he caught his marshmallow on fire! So fun to watch him!
Little bit dangerous..............Hunter with a flaming marshmallow, but no accidents occurred thank goodness!
This was better than any bithday party as far as blowing out candles! All Hunter did was catch his marsahmallow and blow it out..........probably 100 times
Trying to take a picture of Justin helping Logan roast a marshmallow, and Hunter unknowingly got in the picture while he was vigorously tring to blow out his marshmallow.
Thought this was a fun picture of Hunter's excitment!

Buttercup Campsite at Imperial Sand Dunes, CA

My boys on their quads! We love going to the dunes! We got there early Friday, before all the Mesa friends got there. So we enjoyed some dunes time with just our family. We couldn't get the kids off the quads.
Hunter and Logan.................... Yes Logan is only three and rides the quad all by himself. He is actually pretty good at riding and maneuvering it. A broke arm couldn't stop Hunter from riding the quad. That first night he did ask why his arm hurt of much. Hope it's OK to be riding with a broking arm? Hey he had fun at least!
Logan always wanted to be infront so he could "beat" Hunter.
Logan looks so little on that quad.
He is quite the quad rider! He cried when we had to leave the dunes!
