Ready to CRUISE!

I can't believe this is actually happening..... We are headed on a Caribbean Cruise for a week!  We are going on a "cousins cruise."  Brian and Tif are going, as well as Richard and Stacie Harmon, and Justin and Lori Reed. Thank to Stacie, our travel agent for planning the trip and inviting us along!

My first of many strawberry colada's!

This is the first day we boarded the ship!  Man have we all earned this vacation!

I love that I get this man of mine for the next week all to myself.
It's going to be a fabulous week!

Getting ready for our first show of the cruise!
Love all these peeps!  This is the first time Justin and I have been on a trip with so many couples. We think we are going to love it!

How Did Grant Get to Be SIX?

I don't quite know how this happened but Mr. Grant turned SIX and I DON'T LIKE IT!

I want him to stay 5 FOREVER!
I loved him as a 5 year old so much and I don't like that he goes to school ALL DAY now :(

I mean look at this handsome guy......who would want him to be gone all day?
No this momma!
But he is loving school!  And day is mentions that he "has a headache" or "his tummy hurts" I quickly let him stay home, no questions asked!

Mr. Grant wanted a picture with all his favorite stuffed animals.  He was so excited to take this picture!  I let him arrange the animals and after looking at it he said it is the best picture he has ever taken!  LOL!  What a character!

Six Things I Love About Mr. Grant......

1.  I love his quick whit!  He can come up with comments so fast!
2.  I love his smile and laugh!
3.  I love how much he adores his siblings.  He really is a loving kid!
4.  I love seeing how much he LOVES tractors and quads!  Man this kid can sit and watch CKC workers ALL DAY LONG!  He would make a great foreman even at his age now.
5.  I love his hugs and that he wants his mommy when he gets hurt.  I am going to miss that when he is out of this phase.
6.  I love how smart he is!  He learns things so fast and is always lecturing the other kids right along with me.  It is actually pretty funny!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MR. GRANT!!!
We Love You So Much!

Birthday Boy

Grant was so excited to pick a birthday party theme. He chose monster trucks!

Perfect theme for a boy turning SIX!
Look at that smile!  He melts my heart!

It was a cooler day but the boys still braved the water. Grant wanted a swimming party so that's what he got.

They all had a fun time with the tire tubes!

Poor Briges Peterson was freezing!

Grant loved his party!

Even the bigger boys enjoyed the tubes!

Ryker, Logan and Hunter

I had a fun time with the food and drinks!

The cute gift bags for all the boys!

The boys loved picking mud or oil to drink!

Had races with RC cars. Bummer they both wouldn't work at the same time.

Then we played tire tube relay races. The boys had a fun time playing this!

Of course Grant was excited for his presents.

He was ecstatic to open his present from  Justin and me.

Two thumbs up!

Happy Birthday Mr. Grant!
6 Things I Love About Grant
1.  His hugs.
2. The way he can lecture his older siblings....cracks me up!  I love it!
3. The way he dances on stage.
4.  How he insists he isn't tired yet but two seconds later he falls asleep on the couch. Even Silvio asks if Grant still does this.
5.  How helpful he can be. Especially if you tell him you'll give him a couple of quarters. He loves quarters!
6.  His questions. He can be such a deep thinker!
I love you Mr. Grant!

Big Day for Hunter

Today was such a special day for Hunter, he received the Aaronic Priesthood!

I am so proud of Hunter and his worthiness to hold the priesthood and become a deacon.  He is so excited to be part of the scouting program and get to go on "real" camp outs.  He is also thrilled to start going to mutual on Wednesday nights.
Hunter is such a great kid!  He has gotten so mature in the past couple of years and I love watching the process of him growing up.  Even though I'd love to go back to him being a baby and start all over again.  He is such a joy to our family!  We always tell him that he "is an old soul."  He can talk to any one regardless of their age.  I admire his ability to relate to people and to engage in long conversations with whom ever comes his way.
I look forward to seeing him grow and learn in the priesthood!
Love you son!

Glow-in-the-dark Party

It often starts with a fun invitation for our parties...

Get Your Glow On!

Hunter's glow in the dark party was a huge success!

Who knew 12 and 13 year old boys love glow in the dark things so much?

Hunter's cake turned out so cool!
Thanks to Mrs. Verdugo.... Hunter loved his cake!

The boys enjoyed swimming...

Such a fun and wild group of boys!

Dallin, Kaleb, Rayden and Jarom

They all had a blast with the glow in the dark toys.  They played glow in the dark Frisbee and glow in the dark pong ball.

Kaleb, Carson Brown, Dallin, Kaden, Timbo, Jarom, Jacob, Hunter, Case, Justice, Logan, Rayden, Carson Davis, Ryker

Friday Night Fun

So I am the bad parent that lets their boys paint their chests for football games.........yikes!

Tucker Wilkins, Hunter and Brodie Brown
What studs they are!

They have so much fun at home football games!  I love living in a small town for this reason.  We don't even have a kid playing football or cheerleading but we still go to most of the home games.  It has amazed me that a ton of families in our same position go and support the Riders as well.

Ryker, Grant, Kaden Kouts and Hunter

Some Friday nights I did try to tone it down and just did hair color and face paint.
I love these Little Riders of mine.

The Boy Kills Me!

It is picture day at school today. I decided to be nice to Logan and Grant and not make them wear polo shirts. I thought they would appreciate that. So I picked out non- collard shirts.  Logan started talking about how "stupid" his clothes were, under his breath (one of my pet peeves).

After a few deep breathes, I asked him what was wrong.
He explained that it was picture day and that the clothes I had him wear weren't "nice enough for picture day!"
Shoot I thought I was doing him a favor.  I went with him to his room and had him show me what he wanted to wear for pictures.  Yep a shirt a tie!

After he changed clothes he said, "NOW I can impress the ladies!"
I'd say we are in for some trouble once he gets hormones!

Grant was super happy to NOT be wearing a tie!  He'd wear basketball clothes every day if I let him! Ella was so stinking cute when I was trying to get pictures of the boys.  She would not get out of the way......hehehehe!
Sure love these handsome boys of mine!!!
