My boys, Hunter especially, were thrilled beyond words when they found out that Uncle Quincy was coming to Pinetop for the weekend! They knew it would be a weekend full of fishing, which is right up their alley!
Gloria and Warner had gone back with Grammy and Grampy a couple of days early. So that left Quincy, Avery and Lola with me and the kids. One day Quincy took Hunter and Logan fishing at Silver Creek.
They all caught fish so everyone was happy!
I guess they caught 11 in all but a few were too small to keep so they had to throw them back.
Bet Uncle Quincy had a great day with these two!
Actually I think they got along for the day..... I did threaten them with their lives!!
This picture does really tell a lot about their relationship. Hunter pretty much wants to punch Logan on a daily basis, but we are working on that! Logan is the opposite, he seems to admire Hunter!
I really hope they grow up to be great friends!
The boys were excited to get to clean the fish all by themselves! It's great having older kids that can do things like CLEAN FISH..... YUCK!!
Quincy was trying to head home after they got back from fishing. But he was a great sport and stayed a little longer to help us cook the fish! The skin comes right off and the meat was pretty tasty.

Thanks Quincy for making these boys day! I loved hearing them tell us about their day and hearing the excitement in their voices!
