We have the kids electric scooters up here in Pinetop with us. Logan was probably showing off while he was riding it. And one things for sure he was going "too fast." He was on the street just down from the house we are renting when he crashed in the road. He had his helmet on when he wrecked but he still got banged up pretty bad!
He cut the inside of his lip really bad..... thought he might need stitches on it but decided it was probably okay.
He spend the next several hours crying and moaning....... we thought for awhile his elbow might be fractured cause it was causing him so much pain. But after a few hours he seemed better.
He just got scuffed up all over! A sweet family on that street brought Logan home to us and they even brought the scooter back as well. They were very sweet and worried about Logan.
Next thing we know they are at the front door with a stuffed animal and a get well balloon for Logan!
Guess he won them over in the few days we've been here. They were sure sad he had gotten hurt so bad! It's great to find that the world is full of amazingly kind people!
Logan is one tough kid! If this had happened to me I'd be on the couch for at least 3 days!
