Grammies Halloween Party!!!

This is Grammie and Grampie Cluff with all their grandkids. Mom goes all out every year for her Halloween party. It has become something we all look forward to! The CrAzY monkeys............
The WICKED family.....
The Curtis Clan.........
The "other" Cluff Crew...........
Now this is impressive, how mom got dad to wear a costume is beyond me. They looked so cute dressed up as Dora and her map! The grandkids loved it!
What a cute couple of monkeys we make!
You can't get away from me!
Spencer is still "too cool" to dress up. What he needs is a girl to help him see the light!! Dressing up is cool and very fun!
Tif wasn't up for going all out this year but she did pull off being a "quarter- back." Get it? This was thanks to Kaely!

Dress Up Days @ School

It was CrAzY hair and sock day. Kiersten wanted her hair like Pippi Longstocking. It turned out so cool! She was the talk of the school! Hunter defiantly doesn't want to be a girl because those little pig tales HURT!
How do they look RAD or what? It was 80's day! It brought back some scary fashion memories. The kids looked so good. Hunter really pulls off the zebra stripped pants quite well. He was ecstatic to wear them..............which in a way scares me!!!!
This is the spitting image of me in middle school!
How fashion savvy is Hunter?

Carving Jack-o-lanters

This was the first year we attempted to carve pumpkins with the kids. Usually we just do markers or sticker faces, but we were brave this year. The kids just drew their faces and then Justin carved them out.......................hey were not that crazy to give our kids knife and say here free range on a pumpkin.
Kiersten did a wonderful job on her pumpkin! How cute Logie!
The boys had a fun time and I think Justin enjoyed carving them as much as the kids enjoyed drawing them.
Logan was so happy to use the pumpkin he had gotten on his field trip to the pumpkin patch with his preschool class.
Hunter was so smart and carved a face on both sides of his pumpkin!
This kids especially enjoy lighting them each night and seeing their faces glow! Happy Halloween!

Halloween House FHE

For FHE we always do a Halloween gingerbread house. This year things went much smoother as the house came pre-assembled. Thank Heavens! Even the kids remembered the horrible time I had getting the house to stay together. Justin wasn't here last year to help out so it was quite crazy. This year all was well and the kids had a wonderful time decorating the house. What a character Logan is! He sure was hammin' in up for the camera!
Hunter being a great big brother and helping me out with Grant.
Justin being a good dad and trying to make up for being away last year. Hunter was the one that kept bringing up how Justin was gone last year. It sure was hard on us all but especially Hunter!
Really getting into it. We gave them full range to decorated it however they wished.
They had fun together making our Halloween house look crazy!
Hunter adding his artistic touch to it. Kiersten was constantly licking her fingers!
Everyone add a little candy during the process!
What a good looking bunch!
The final results.......................hey the main idea was to have fun and we accomplished that so don't judge!

Happy Halloween from Grant

The pictures got out of order.........this was at the end of our photo shoot. I think sitting in a pumpkin reminded Grant of the womb because he got so relaxed he started to dose off.
We had a fun shoot with Grant at the Hancock's Park which is just down the road from our house. I have taken many peoples pictures there, it's such a pretty place. Grant was so relaxed sitting in the pumpkin, it was amazing!!!
Looks like he is deep in thought huh?
I just love this picture! A gallery wrap of this shot will definitely complete my Fall decorations!

Sweet Little Features

What sweet little features Grant has. I could just look at him all day long and be happy! I love his little Cluff button nose and rose bud lips! So precious! So far Grant is still being a very happy baby and we are loving it!!! We know that you really have to wait until the 3-4 week mark to really tell if your baby is going to be good so we are trying not to get our hopes up completely. But we have really loved having a newborn this time! I can't believe how much easier a baby is when they aren't colicky!!! We did get a bit of bad news, or what could end up being bad news. Grant's pku test came back and showed a under active thyroid. So yesterday I had to take him to get his blood drawn..........it was so sad. The lady that did it was super sweet and kept apologizing for hurting Grant. She had to stick him twice and the second time she really had to fish around with the needle to find his vein. By the end both Grant and I were in tears! I decided if Grant needs anymore blood drawn that's a job for DAD! We should hear back from our Dr. in a week or less. Hopefully it's not something very serious.
His perfect little ear! Sweet hands! So tiny!
Logan tells me everyday how much he likes his "Lil' Friends" toes and feet.

What Do 3 Year Olds Do While Mommy is Feeding the Baby?

So my wonderful friend Rue brought some homemade zucchini bread, which was delicious by the way and I wasn't the only one to think so. I come in from feeding Grant to find Logan helping himself. I couldn't even get mad because he was so proud of himself. He kept saying, "Mommy, I no come get you.............I do it all by myself!" It was too cute to be mad even though there was a nice mess on the freshly swept floor. Thanks Rue for the yummy treat! I am blessed to have such great friends in my life. It really brightened my day when Rue dropped by to visit.

Ready for Halloween

The kids were so excited for it to be October so they could start wearing their Halloween clothes. Logan wanted to know when he gets to "tick-or-teat". What "spooktacular" kids!
Cute little Grant with his pumpkin beanie!

Got Crafty

So I decided to start making these spiders while I was pregnant with Grant. I didn't quite get them done until this week, but they turned out so cute. I love having a craft project and it's been nice to make these while I am home bound with a newborn.
I made 15 sets of spiders. There are 3 spiders to each set, so that makes for a TON OF SPIDERS!!!
I made personal little cards for each gift set.
Didn't they turn out adorable.
I made some for each of the kids teachers, aides, my visiting teaching ladies and several good friends. It was a fun project!
