Grant and I were at Walmart buying some ice cream for his family birthday party. There was this cute grandpa guy behind us as we were checking out. The guy was buying two packages of smarties (candy). He asked me if I cared if Grant had some. I didn't. So he opened a package and gave two little packets of smarties to Grant.
Grant then proceeds to invite the old guy to his birthday party. The guy thought it was so sweet of Grant that he opened up his wallet and gave him $5. He told Grant he couldn't make it to his party but he hoped he had a fun time!
It was so kind of the old grandpa and Grant was thrilled.
This was the crew of kids that came for Grant's family party. Brad couldn't make it with his kids darn it.
We did some messy finger painting! Still a big hit with Grant even a second time.
Way to go kids! Nice job!
We didn't do as any things for Grant's family party as we did for his friends party. It's just too many kids and too big of an age span.
Everyone enjoyed banana splits. It was fun letting all the cousins play.
From the looks of this picture I am pretty sure Grant is going to blow out all 4 candles!
