MVP for Today's Game

What a great day for Hunter!
They played Solomon today in basketball. This was the first game where Hunter got to play almost the entire game!  Big treat for him since he usually only plays about 3 minutes at the most.

I am so dang proud of this kid!  It's not always been easy being on the basketball team. He is a good two feet shorter than anyone on his team which proves to be a challenge. His teammates have been great. It's just not easy to get up every morning at 4:30 for practice, work your butt off and then not get much playing time. But Hunter has had a much better attitude then I ever thought he would!!

Going up for the shot....look at his feet. That is almost a 3 point shot!

When your short it takes your whole body to shoot that far back.

And it's up....

Nothing but net!!!
I could just kick myself for not taking a picture of Grandma Cluff and Grandma B   As we were driving home from the game Hunter said, "the best part about that game was that Grandma B was there to see it!"  It sure meant a lot to him!

Hunter made 4 baskets this game and stole the ball several times. He husseled his butt off!  Pima won 31-10.....blew Solomon off the court!!  The practice following a game Coach Troy Judd always names someone MVP of the game. Hunter was MVP of this game!!! Such a stud!
