Kiersten & Maliya's Surprise....

Kristen had the great idea to kidnap Kiersten and Maliya from school and surprise them with a little girls trip. I am always up for something fun and the tickets were cheaper on Wednesday night so we "had" to ditch school. Is that bad for the PTO President to say?
Kristen made up clues for the girls to find out where we were taking them. We were off for Mesa that much they did know.
Maliya guessed right off where we were going.............
DISNEY ON ICE
The girls were so excited........and so were Kristen and I.
We had great seats and the company couldn't have been better.
It was fun to visit with Kristen as it seems we don't spend much time together these days.
The show was Awesome! We all loved the Princesses the best.
It always amazes me the things people can do on ice skates and in huge costumes.
Fun, Fun, Fun
The show was about different Holidays!
Seriously......now that requires TRUST!
WOW!
Beauty and the Beast
Snow White
Ariel and Prince Eric
The Princess and the Frog
I did wish the boys could have been there cause they would have loved it as well.
All the special effects really make the show.
Kiersten, Maliya and I walked down to the ice during the intermission.
Loved the fire show
I love these Chinese Dragons!
Kiersten and I loved all the costumes the ice skaters wore!
Santa Goofy
Now the boys would have loved this part!
Buzz Lightyear has talent!
This picture is for Logan......he still loves dinosaurs!
I love the piggy and army man!
I am thinking we should be characters from Toy Story this year for Halloween!
I am always sad to see the Finale of shows!
We had a great time on our girls trip.
We did a little shopping at Target, ate at Applebee's, enjoyed Disney on Ice, and loved spending time together. Since Logan's surgery had been scheduled for the next morning in Tucson this cut our girl time shorter then we had wished! So Kiersten and I crashed for a few hours that night at Melissa and Chris's (Thank You) then got up at 4:30 and left for Tucson at 5:00 a.m.

Mr. Grant

Aren't they the sweetest when they are asleep? Logan was so proud of himself for rocking Mr. Grant to sleep! I was proud of him to and shocked at the same time. They were just watching cartoons and he went right to sleep. Look what Hunter did to Mr. Grant! He would have made a pretty girl......he, he....
He looks all girly with his fingers pointing and everything!
It was hilarious.......these are Build-a-Bear clothes!
The kids had a great giggly time....

My Little Sailor

Mr. Grant is 15 months old
He is learning all kinds of new things like....
how to gracefully throw a fit,
sign the word "more,"
climb the ladder outside to go down the slide,
make even bigger messes,
how to empty the kitchen drawer that holds the kids cups and then climb inside of the drawer, just to name a FEW!
Gosh I LOVE this little man!
Couldn't you just love on him all day and not get tired of it!
He has a look all of his own but at least it's a cute look! Mr. Grant is such a fun little guy. He LOVES, LOVES, LOVES being outside! There is no place he would rather be then outside with the rest of the kids! What a sweet sailor boy! Tub Time Pictures...
Mr. Grant was so curious about being in the large metal tub that we could hardly get him to look up. It would have been a funny picture if you could have seen all the things Justin and I were doing to make Mr. Grant look up!
Isn't he cute?
We Love Our Mr. Grant

You Never Know What You'll Find........

In a child's scripture case....
Grammie Boswell took Kiersten and Hunter to church with her one Sunday, as I was home caring for my sick boys, Justin, Logan and Mr. Grant who were all under the weather. For a few weeks the handle on Hunter's scripture case had been broke.
So Hunter asked Grammie Boswell if she could fix it...........since he knows his mom doesn't even sew buttons on shirts. She of course agreed and took his scripture case after church was over......scriptures and all, or so she thought!
To sew up the strap Grammie had to unzip the case.........she had noticed that the scriptures felt quite light but just figured it was one of those small Book of Mormon or something. When she opened Hunter's Scripture case she couldn't help but laugh..... Browny Bear had went to church with Hunter...........no scriptures to be found. I asked Hunter about Browny Bear being in his scripture case. He didn't know Grammie would have to open the case to fix it and he admitted that Browny Bear has traveled to church a few times before with us! It was so cute you couldn't even be mad. Hunter still sleeps with Browny Bear to this day. I am not looking forward to the day when Hunter is "too cool" for Browny Bear. He reassures me that will never happen and that he is keeping Browny Bear until he is a Grandpa! What a sweet, fun boy! So you never know what you might find in a child's scripture case. You might want to start checking your kids scripture bags.........there might be more then just scriptures in there and you might find there aren't any scriptures at all!

What WILD Boys.......

Who doesn't LOVE silly boys in the tub! It was hilarious to listen and watch these three boys......they played so well and just had a blast every where they went!
Logan.....well being himself!

Happy New Years!

We didn't do anything fancy this year. We had to turn down an invite to a fun party but decided to spend the evening with Marla, Carson, Garret, Gloria, Avry, Brad, and Grammie Boswell. I made a chocolate fondue and a cream cheese fondue! Boy were they YUMMY! Kiersten and Hunter put on a finger puppet show for us. They wrote the whole thing and did such a cute job on it. We visited, stuffed our faces and enjoyed the evening...............sadly come 10:30 we were all in bed asleep. Many of us were starting to come down with colds and some of the family didn't come because they were feeling too sick.
.......delicious...... Oh yes........the fondue was so good! My first time ever doing fondue at home. It was a big hit and I'd like to get another fondue pot like the one I have and do a three course fondue with the oil and everything.............I think we should have a FONDUE PARTY!!! Well of course Justin and I have New Year resolutions as always and look forward to the growth a new year inevitably brings. We feel truly blessed to have the work that we have coming for 2011. We know it will mean seeing Justin less, as his hours will be even longer but we are grateful to have the work in this struggling economy. Justin is thankful to be able to keep all their employees working because there is nothing that bothers Justin more in running a business then to have to lay off a hard worker due to lack of work. We look forward to 2011 with gratitude in our hearts!!!

Watch Out..........Snipers in Training!

The little boys thought they would make good targets and they climbed the hill right where we were planning to shoot! Crazy Boys! Troy was like a little kid when it came to shooting the M16. The day we decided to go shooting was FREEZING cold............it actually starting snowing that day! Rieley was thrilled to shoot the M16 and to have pictures to show all his friends back home!
Well I couldn't let the boys have all the fun. It is pretty amazing on fully automatic blowing up the side of the hill! Fun stuff!
See the snow started coming down.
Hunter has shot this gun before but with the 22 barrel on it.............today he was thrilled to shoot it in fully automatic 223 mode! Check out Sniper Rieley in the Safford Blizzard!
Marla enjoyed the M16 as well. It's pretty fun to shoot and really brings to life the men and women out there using these and other high power rifles to defend our freedom! Makes you appreciate the freedom we all enjoy and makes you respect those that sacrifice so much so we can enjoy life here in the United States.
Nolan...............like a kid in a candy shop!
Nice form Nolan!
It was fun even though the weather was so dang cold!
