"My Pee Fell Out"

So Logan had a accident in the night and when he got up he was so disturbed about it. He has been potty trained for years so to wet his bed was a big deal to him. When he came out of his room to tell us he kept saying, "It not my fault, my pee just fell out!" He probably said that like 10 times. It was like he wanted us to confirm that it couldn't have been him because he would never do such a thing. We laughed so hard....................."It's not my fault, my pee just fell out!"

Kiersten's Little Things Collection

Kiersten LOVES Little Things and has since she was very little. We have been looking for things to keep the collection in to display them on the wall and we need to say a GREAT BIG THANKS to Tessa! Thanks so much for letting Kiersten have your old boxes! Kiersten just couldn't believe how cool they are. Thanks again and thanks Sandra for being so thoughtful and giving. You are one of my truest friends! Wish I saw you guys more!! Kiersten got a couple of little things for her collection for Valentine's day. It is amazing to me that someone can carve something so small, a monkey on a pumpkin.
Two little acorns..........they are real just painted and have earth magnets on them so the stay together. Kiersten loved them.
She just had to have a picture of her with her collection. Thanks again Tessa you are too kind!

Justin and his addiction

So pretty much every evening this is where you can find Justin, some night's without Mr. Grant in his arms. But for the most part Mr. Grant doesn't seem to mind his Daddy's addiction to the new Wii Mario Brothers game...................and neither do I! Yep, it used to be the Wii Lego Star Wars game. But he conquered that one and has moved on. This remote is pretty much permanently attached to his hands!
Justin is too into the game to possibly pause for a picture, but not adorable little Grant. He gave me a good smile! I tease Justin about his addiction to the Wii when I can, but I actually don't mind it. We did have to set down some rules...........like you would with any kid!!!

Mr. Grant's Cupcake Party

We had Grant's Cupcake Party on the afternoon when he was blessed. It turned out so nice. We had a great time with family and friends. It was raining in the morning when we were getting ready for church and I was bummed that we might all be stuck in the house. Especially considering we had invited like 60 people. But it cleared up by 3:00 and all was well! We had six choices of gourmet cupcakes to choose from. They were all a big hit! These are cookies 'n cream cheesecake cupcakes, which are delicious! I have several as it was one of my binge days before starting my diet. I make these ones.
These are German chocolate cupcakes, from scratch, I might add. My mom made these and they were one of my two top favorites! It was so hard to have favorites because they were all so good! And yes I tasted them all so I speak the truth! I could eat this frosting by the bowl. Why waste calories on the cake part is my theory when it comes to these!
My other favorite was the raspberry marble cheesecake cupcakes! They were a huge hit with everyone. I made these ones and LOVE, LOVE, LOVE them! I made them again for the kids teachers and aides. You don't even feel guilty eating one because it's like half the size of a normal cheesecake slice. But when you eat 4 or 5 the guilty starts creeping up on you. All I can say is...............THEY ARE SOOOOOO WORTH IT!!!!
Then my mom just made some chocolate with sprinkles for the kids. She thought we had to have some with sprinkles.
Saving the best for last.......... my friend Tessa Smith made these delicious snickers cupcakes and a mouth watering red velvet with cream cheese frosting. She is trying to earn money to go to China to teach English by selling gourmet cupcakes. So if anyone is having a party let me know and I can give you her number. She has so many different kinds it's hard to choose which one to have her make. Thank you thank you Tessa.............they were a big hit as well. A couple of people asked me for the recipe for them actually.
Mr. Grant wishing he could have a cupcake or at least some frosting!
He is so dang cute!
Had to have a picture with Mr. Grant!
Justin took a few randon shots. Here I am talking with Tressie and Stacie my good friends and neighbors. Wish we would have taken more pictures of everyone who came. The Shupe family, the Allen family, the Moore family, the Smith family, Quincy, Gloria & Avry, Brad & Cherly, all the Cluff side family's were there, Grandma & Grandpa Bennion from Utah, both sets of Grant's Grandparents and my sweet sister Marla came all the way from Chicago. I could just kick myself for not taking a picture of us together. I had so much fun with Marla. Thanks for coming down wish we could do it more often!
This is a 4 Generation picture.........Rex Bennion, a.k.a Grandpa B, Grandpa Cluff, Justin, Logan, Hunter & Grant. What a fine looking group of men!
Kiersten wanted a picture with her two Grammies, Grammy Cluff & Grandma B. Kiersten just thinks the world of both these Grammies. She love Grandma B and is always so excited when she comes to visit, as are all the kids!
This would be Grandma B & Grandpa B with all their "Cluff " Great Grand kids! What a group.............14 kids. WOW!

One Happy Boy!

For days Logan keeps beggin' me to help him on Hunter's little bike that has no training wheels. I helped him one time for about 2 minutes and I could tell he wasn't ready. So one day he comes up to me and says, "Mom I am ready, I can ride Hunter's bike now." He sounded so sure of himself so I took him outside to let him try and.........................AWAY HE WENT!!! Sure enough he COULD ride a bike without training wheels.
When he stopped he told me, "Mom, Jesus taught me how to ride my bike without training wheels."
Then he shouted, "THANK YOU JESUS!"
Not sure what church he's been attending lately, but it made me laugh.
He was such a happy boy and wanted to show EVERYONE! It's fun that he learned how to ride a bike without training wheels and he is only 4. But the downside was that he couldn't start himself. So it was a big problem and he would ask me every 5 minutes, no exaggeration, to help him on his bike. What a guy! Thank goodness my BRILLIANT friend Wendy Shupe suggested I give him something to stand on, like a block, so he could start by himself. It worked like a charm! Logan was thrilled as was I. Thank you a million times Wendy! I owe her dinner once we are all off our diets!
There he goes.................doing it BY HIMSELF. He kept cheering "I can do it all by himself!"
And way he goes! No stopping him now!
I love that he looked back to make sure I was still watching him and taking pictures.
He is a pro now!

Who Put Who To Sleep?

So it was cute............I was working on editing some pictures from a photo shoot and Justin was watching Grant. The other kids were in bed. I came out and saw this. Mr. Grant put his Daddy to sleep. It was cute Grant would just look at Justin and smile while his Daddy slept.

Activity Days

I am the Activity Day Leader for the 8-9 year old girls and I LOVE IT! I was in a rush trying to get these Cookie Flower Boutique and Mr. Grant must have sensed I hurrying. He just went to sleep on the floor while I has making a sample one for the girls to look at. I never heard a peep from him until I went to get him so we could go to the church and this is how I found him. What a sweet baby! Thanks Mr. Grant!
This was what I was in the process of figuring out how to make.
The end results..............they turned out so cute and the girls had a blast making them for their Adopted Grandmas.

Mr. Grant

Mr. Grant is just a chubby ball of LOVE! He is getting too big too fast. He is my first happy, easy baby so it's the first time I am wishing he would stay little. With my other babies I just wanted them to get bigger so they would stop being so fussy. Mr. Grant likes to sit at the table with the family at dinner time and just babbles away. He is so fun!

Kiersten

Isn't she a Doll! I love the hats and flowers that my friend Jamie sales. They are adorable!Kiersten is loving school! She like playing the violin and is getting really good at it. It is amazing to me how many songs she has memorized. She loves dance! I love picking her up from her dance classes and listening to her excitement about what new moves she learned. She is way excited about the Spring Recital and says her dance routine is the BEST! It's great to have a girl in the house!

Logan

Logan is one silly character. He just keeps us laughing all the time. I have been so impressed who good Logan has been with the addition of Mr. Grant. If anything he loves Grant to death. He isn't mean to him in anyway. Logan is acting more grown up all the time. Justin and I were just talking about how Logan acts more like a kid then a toddler, if that makes sense. He is all boy and LOVES, LOVES, LOVES to play with all the neighborhood friends. We love living out here, there are lots of fun friends for all of us!

Hunter

I had two extra Valentine cookie bouquets after we made them with my Activity Day girls. Kiersten of course wanted to give one to Mrs. Moore (whom we LOVE) and Hunter was ecstatic to give one to Mrs. Lines. He wrote her a sweet Valentine card and asked me how to spell every word he didn't know because he said, "I don't want it to look like silly kid writing!" He is funny even when he isn't trying.
The ladies love him and he LOVES the ladies. He has a crush on his teacher Mrs. Lines. It is so dang cute. He always asks me if he can call or text Mrs. Lines. He's only in the First Grade..............we are so in trouble. Mrs. Lines is so wonderful, we all just love her to pieces!

My Little Loves...

Four of my Five Valentine's! The kids love to get their Valentine shirts each February. They look so cute in red. It's one of my favorite colors. Three Kings and a Princess
The kids adore Mr. Grant. Kiersten is a huge help and will hold him whenever I ask her to. A lot of times Kiersten will pick up Grant when he's fussin before I do. One of her favorite things to do is push Grant in his stroller. Hunter loves to hold toys for Grant to try to reach and I have to say Hunter is the most patient one when we are in the car and Mr. Grant is telling us he is ready to get out of his car seat. Hunter will give him toys, sing to him, rock his car seat. It's so cute to see them all interact with Mr. Grant. Now there is Logan who tells me several times a day EVERYDAY, "Mom I like your baby!" I love my kids............not saying they don't drive me complete bonkers on a regular basis, but I wouldn't be the same without them.

Mr. Grant

Mr. Grant is such a fun baby! He loves it when his Daddy rubs his scruff to tickle the palm of his hand. Grant will just giggle and giggle. The whole family loves to watch! Mr. Grant now rolls over from his back to his tummy and back onto his back. He is almost 5 months old. He is growing up way too fast! I could just nibble on his cheeks all day.

Mr. Grant's Invites..........

I think Mr. Grant's invites to his "Cupcake Party" turned out so cute. I am trying to learn things in Photo Shop so can offer them to my clients. Not too bad for my first invitation/announcement huh? The kids are so excited to take these around to our family and friends! Hopefully I can get them printed today!
