Kiersten had a few girl friends over for an ice cream/swimming party.
Grammy Boswell came to help with the festivities.........Mr. Grant loved that!
We played a few games and thank goodness the Moore boys were willing to come compete against the girls.
Handsome........and lucky boys! It was suppose to be a "girls only" party but we made an exception for a little part of the party.
It was a water relay race to see which team could fill up the milk jug with water using a sponge to transport the water. The kids had a great time cheering each other on. The girls won by a hair!
The next game was a relay race as well. The kids had to waddle down to a beach bag while keeping a beach ball between their legs. Once at the beach bag they had to put on everything in the bag: Scuba mask and flippers, snorkel and large men's swim trunks.
It was hilarious!
After the outside games the girls came inside to color their own beach ball. They enjoyed this activity and were so giggly it just made me smile!
Serious about their coloring...
Kiersten was very excited about the cute little decorations I got from Oriental Trader.
Ice Cream everywhere!
Got these cute bowls from OT as well and the girls were so happy when I told them they got to take them home.
YUMMY!
All the delicious fix ins for a yummy ice cream sundae.
The kids could hardly believe I was going to let them put WHATEVER toppings they wanted.........and when I let them have seconds I thought one girl was going to die. Her exact words were "I wish YOU were my mom!" Don't worry I reassured her I am only this nice during a party..........ha, ha...
The gift bags were little sandcastle buckets........so adorable!
Heaven!
Sarah, Kiersten and Hanna........friends from DPA
Only two girls couldn't come so it was a nice size group.....but sad the other two couldn't make it.
The boys were swimming during this whole part but I did let them in to make themselves an ice cream sundae.
Kiersten and her best friend Hanna are just so petite! This was a fun group of girls.....Maranda had to come late because she has school on Fridays.
Kiersten opened her presents and the party was complete..........although all the girls called their parents to see if they could stay and swim for awhile........the fun just couldn't stop!
It was a great party and the first one we've had with No Birthday Cake...........
