Trip to Flagstaff & Cinder Hills

This was our home away from home for the week. We rented a house in Flagstaff instead of taking the toyhauler and camping. It worked out to be really nice and less work. We still want to go back and actually camp at the Cinder's next summer! The house was really nice and just remodeled. It had a game room with a pool table which we all enjoyed! Here's Logan enjoying his quad at the Cinder's! The kids did really good having to share their quads with their Chicago cousins. There really wasn't much fighting over them which was really nice. I told my kids how proud I was of them for sharing so well. Hunter said, "I am choosing the right!" So happy to be out riding!
Troy and Nolan breaking the big rule of wearing helmets. We got that straightened out fast. The Chicago cousins loved riding and just in a few hours Nolan was driving all by himself. What a STUD!
This is Carson! He is quite the character. Him and Logan are the same age and they just had a grand time playing with each other. Logan refers to Carson as his "tiny or lil friend." It's so cute to see them together.
Garrett really enjoyed the dirt!
There Troy and Nolan are following the rules! We were glad Uncle Troy was able to join us at the last minute. We have a great time together!!!
These TONKA trucks are a must for anyone with boys. Especially on a camping trip!
Yes, that would be Rieley driving the joyner!! He is 13 and was very excited to learn to drive a stick! He did an amazing job better then some adults I know!
We let him drive any chance we could.
These are the best two buddies in the world! They played so well and loved every minute of it.
STUD MUFFIN!!!
Hunter and Nolan enjoying a nice ride. The Cinder's is a great place to ride. There are just tons and tons of trails to ride on. This was our first trip there, but definitely won't be the last. For anyone that loves to ride the Cinder's is a must. The weather was nice and cool. It rained a little each day which really cooled things off.
I found a butterfly on a bush and the kids played, loved and sort of tormented it (in a overly loving way). The butterfly must have been hurt from the beginning because it never even tried to fly away, so I didn't feel as bad letting the kids "love it!"
Baby Garrett and I could ride at about the same speed so I was elected to take him on rides. He loved it!
Kiersten and Aubrey enjoying a ride together! The Cinder's just has a million trails going in every direction. It is such a great place! I was worried a bit that one of the kids might get lost but they didn't.
What a good lookin' group of boys. They all had a fun time riding in the yellow TONKA trucks down the trailer ramp!
Love Garrett's curls!
Hunter is such a STUD on his quad!
Rieley and Troy venturing off for a guys ride!
That's my boys, plus Nolan on the back of Hunter's quad! The boys loved it when Justin would take them further away from camp for a "long, big boy ride!"
Hunter and Nolan sure enjoyed climbing the trees and we didn't have to worry about cracked headed because they kept their helmets on the whole time!
Kiersten just adores Aubrey! Justin said several times "we need an Aubrey around." She is so much help and has a fun personality.
Yes, that would be Aubrey driving Warren's Rhino. She loved every minute of it!
