Lipstick?

Oh this girl....
She does love chapsticks and lipstick.
When I left that room while she was coloring I come back to find her like this!

She was so proud of herself saying, "I purple lips. I pity!"
Yup you have purple lips and you are pretty.
There is no way I could be mad.  She was too excited.
Oh how I love you Ella Jane!

Ella Loves...

The play house!

And I love playing with her in it!  Sometimes I have to remind myself I can't just play with Ella all day, I have other responsibilities to take care of.  But man how I love the time I do get to spend playing in this play house with her.  She is just starting to love "making be food" and playing house!  How I got so blessed to have the opportunity to be the mother to not just one but two girls I don't know.  But I am loving it!
I love experiencing the fun things with my boys as well.  It's just wonderful to have both!  This Mom gig is pretty sweet!

Easter

Easter is here again...

the easter bunny found us!

We were all really excited to see a basketball hoop for the pool!  Yippee!  Can't wait to use this!

Ella really got into Easter this year!  She loved finding the eggs hidden through out the house.

Ella didn't want to put down her Easter basket.  Logan had gone to the Lake with the Shupe's for the weekend.  We sure missed him!

I am so grateful for my Savior this Easter season.  I am grateful for His victory over death.  I am deeply thankful for His Atonement.  I am blessed to have the knowledge that the Atonement can changes lives, it can heal a broken heart, it can make us clean from sin, it is the process we all need to use in order to become who our Heavenly Father needs us to be, in order to return to his presence.  I love the gospel.  I realize how much I need the Savior and the accompaniment of the Holy Ghost, each and every day!  So grateful to have that knowledge of where to seek and find peace and truth.
#familiesareforever

Kiersten adds such spirituality to our home.  She reads her scriptures every night, even when on vacations.  I often find her kneeling in pray as I go to say good night to her.  She genuinely loves the Lord and wants to do His will.  I love the influence she is in our home!

I don't know how many time we had to hide Easter eggs for this girl.

We waited for Logan to get home from the lake before we dyed eggs and had our money egg hunt.  He was grateful we had waited!  We decided to try shaving cream for dying our eggs this year...

These two boys had way too much fun with it!

Ella just wanted a marker to color hers.

Of course they ended up making a poop colored egg.  Oh boys will be boys!

I have to live with these crazies!

When Justin and I are in the loony bin it will not be a surprise to anyone.

Our annual glow in the dark easter egg hunt was a success!

What kid doesn't like a little spending money!
We had a great Easter!

Garden Upgrade

We have been working on finishing our pool area and decided to make planter boxes for the garden.

I enlisted the help of handy man Spencer!  Boy were we glad we had him!  Thanks Spencer for your tools, muscles and hard work.

The little boys were sure good helpers!  This is something Justin would usually try to do by himself but I strongly encouraged him to include the boys.  To my surprise he did and they LOVED working with their dad!

Thanks babe for making me planters.  They ended up wonderful.

I love seeing my kids learning how to work hard on a project!

Doyle was hanging out at our house so we forced him to work too.  Hahaha...I think he liked it though.  Him and Hunter were such work horses all day!

These Cluff men are my heroes!

Don't the planter boxes look great!
We just need to get some decorative rock to spread out around them and get the garden going.

Tomatos, cherry tomatoes, cucumbers, yellow squash and green squash, watermelon, bell peppers and okra all planted and ready to grow in these amazing planter boxes.

I love how they turned out!
So grateful for a wonderful husband who is so good at working on the yard and projects around the house!

Ella's Hello Kitty Party

Yes it might be two months late but I finally had a birthday party for Ella. Between Spencer's wedding in January, which honestly took all month, and my surgery and recovery in February this was the first chance I found for a party.

Ella loves kitty's so I thought a Hello Kitty party would go over well with Ella.

Thanks Kaely for making the cupcakes for me. They turned out perfect!

Boy was I right on....Hello Kitty party was perfect for Ella!  She LOVED it!!

I love her expression in this picture!

I love that Ella wore her tiara the entire party! Can't believe Ella Jane is already two!

Look at that smile!
2 Things I Love About Ella
1.  Her smile and kisses.
2.  Making her giggle!

We invited all the little girl cousins over and it was the perfect crowd for this party theme. When the girls first arrived we painted yellow kitty noses and Whiskers on their faces. They all seemed to like it!  So easy and super cute!

We played one of Ella's favorite games. Kitty, kitty, mouse. Pretty much duck, duck, goose but using the words kitty, kitty, mouse.

This picture explains it all!
Ella Jane LOVED the game!

Had a hello kitty piñata!

Everyone got hello kitty backpacks with goodies inside.

Ella was so cute when we sang Happy Birthday to her. She loved being the center of attention!

So fun!  I love this little girl!

It's so fun to watch her begin to love opening presents.

Aunt Tif nailed it with her gift....a stuffed kitty. It was a great party. Ella love every minute of it!!!  And this is proof even with the fifth kid I still had birthday parties!

Still Rockin the Tiara!

Ella loved her birthday party!  Even though it was 3 months late, she could have cared less!

She loved all the attention and especially loved her kitty tiara!

She rocked that tiara for days and days!

And anytime she finds it in the playroom she wears it for the day.

I love this girl so much!  She completes our family and keeps me feeling young! I mean you have to be young to have a 2 year old right?

Play-Doh

This little cutie is the worse eater I have ever had!!!  Even when she was a baby and first trying foods.  She would hardly eat any kind of baby food and nothing has changed as she has gotten older.

She pretty much only loves CARBS!  Really I have to force her to take a few bites of baby food in the squeeze bottles in order for her to get any veggies or fruits.  She honestly will eat NO fruits or vegetables on her own!  And getting her to take a few swallows of that baby/toddler food is still a fight.

But today I discovered she thinks one thing tastes yummy....

Yes that would be play-doh!
Ella LOVES to play with play-doh.  Never before has she tasted it.  But today she was playing with it and then came and found me folding laundry.  She was super excited to inform me that "Play-doh is yummy mommy!!!"

Seriously she would not stop saying how "yummy play-doh is."
I am wondering if her taste buds did not properly develop or something???  Honestly, Ella is the worse eater but look at how cute she is.  So really what can you do.  I did try to talk her in to not licking the play-doh and eventually I just had to put it up.
Oh what a character she is!!!  She sure keeps me on my toes but I wouldn't change it for the world!
