Fun Photo Shoot with Avry!
I had a wonderful time at my photo shoot with Quincy and Avry. She is such a doll! Here's a few samples of our fun.
Quincy brought some of his really cool tools and it turned out great. I never knew large tools could make such awesome props. I might need to borrow these again! Avry was done with pictures by this time................but Gloria and I both thought she was even adorable crying in the background. Doesn't the saying describe how us women feel? Ha, Ha!

Happy Early Valentine's Day Mom!
This is for my wonderful mother-in-law. She has mentioned having me take Valentine pictures of all the grand kids. I figured what the heck why not surprise her. She is such a great person and I just love her! She helps me every Monday by watching Logan and Grant so I can go help in Hunter's class. She is a fabulous Grammy! She really helped us through our difficult year last year. She'll watch the kids whenever we ask. She raised a wonderful son whom I was lucky enough to marry! I am indebted to her. We all love you Mom! Now all you need to decide is what size of gallery wrap you want (it has to be square is the only requirement).
Happy (early) Valentine's Day!

My Little Sock Monkey
What a fun time I had having a shoot with My Little Sock Monkey!! I am acquiring some cool new photo props, the sock monkey hat being one of them. I am looking for some old suitcases and a old grocery store type of scale if anyone knows where I can find anything like this please let me know!
I love the planter basket I got from Walmart. Now that I have a studio I always have my eye out for anything I can turn into a prop. I love his little feet in all these basket pictures.
Don't ya love this knitted sock monkey cap? I got it off etsy........they have such great stuff!
What a sweet little guy!
He doesn't even know how cute his is! He just melts my heart!
Justin was the one taking this picture............and yes that means it's ME he is smiling at. Babies make a mom feel so good! I love his raised eyebrows!

Logan Got Caught In a Jar!!!
So today Mrs. Lines, Hunter's teacher called me to come get Hunter because his stomach was hurting. After only one hour of being at home he wanted to go back to school. I told him, "nope, you are now my guinea pig!" I made him and Logan come pose for me on my green screen. When I told Hunter my idea for a picture he was ecstatic! We "put" Logan in a jar complete with shadows and everything! When I got done tweaking the picture and showed it to Logan he was seriously freaked out!
Logan said in a scared voice..............."Mom I no want to be in the jar. When was I in the jar Mom?" Hunter can't wait to take this picture to school on Monday! I think it turned out sweet!
By the way, my other post about the new shoot locations.................yep all taken in my studio on the green screen. Cool huh?

New Shoot Locations..........what ya think?
Mr. Grant............I should have put him in that old tire or something, but I was too excited to use my new zebra print tote. Isn't it sweet! I really like this Bronze effect I just learned how to do in PS.
So I found some new locations for photo shoots and am excited to start doing it again. It was a nice break with Mr. Grant and I have enjoyed it, but I am ready to start getting creative and taking pictures again. I am also very excited to have a studio now. I just got some awesome props that I can't wait to use!!
Any one need pictures done?

Oh What A Day............lets focus on the good shall we!
Yesterday was just one of those days. You know the kind where you have a million things going on, dishes, sweeping, laundry, dinner, pick up kids from school, pick up extra kids from school to help out a friend, karate, dance, run through walmart, etc, etc. But Mr. Grant decided that he had an opinion about all those tasks and he wasn't a fan of such a busy day nor was he a fan of taking naps! He usually just eats, sleeps and plays in his bumbo or on the floor..........not today! He was only happy if I was holding him and not just holding him but standing up holding him. And so he helped me sweep, change laundry, everything. It was a beautiful day outside and so in the afternoon once I knew Mr. Grant was in charge completely (some days I like to pretend that I am in charge), we headed outside to swing.
Low and behold something GLORIOUS happened...............Logan learned to pump himself on the swing! Any moms knows that the day their child learns how to pump themselves is wonderful. And Logan was just as excited as I was!
Now that is one happy boy! I was swinging with Mr. Grant and Logan was swinging beside us. I gave him a push to get him started and a few minutes later I noticed he was even higher without my assistance. He didn't really notice he was the one doing it, but sure enough it was all him! YEAH!
Now he doesn't have to beg me everyday to push him on the swing and I no longer have to feel like a bad mom for telling him "not right now." I am really guilty of that one!
He called his Grammies on the phone cause he just had to tell someone! This is a pretty big day for a four year old!
His smile says it all!

Weigh In Time
My Wonderful sister-in-law Gloria and her sisters got me this old antique scale. I wanted one to have for newborn photo shoots, but I just couldn't resist a picture of Mr. Grant in it. He is such a big boy and he really didn't fit, but he looks cute just the same! Thank you so much Nandino girls for being so sweet and thoughtful!

Snow Trip
While Justin was off over the holiday's he took the kids up to Twilight Canyon our favorite tubing spot on Mt. Graham. I stayed home with Mr. Grant and worked on things at home. They had a wonderful time I heard. I got a little worried when they were gone for 4 1/2 hours. I guess they were just having too much fun to come home! The kids loved this snow house they made and they kept asking their Dad if he could bring it home for them.
I think Kiersten could live in the snow and be happy.
Logan all bundled up. Having warm snow clothes makes all the difference! Thanks Mom and Tif for letting us use all your stuff. Most of the snow clothes are the ones Justin wore when he was a little kid which is kind of cool. The kids liked wearing stuff that they knew their Dad wore and played in. Of course Logan just kept laughing because he didn't believe that his dad was ever that little! He thought that was a pretty fun joke!
Hunter loved tubing! This year the kids did more tubing on the actual tube then last year. They still like sliding down just on their bums and Twilight Canyon is the perfect place for "Bum Sledding!"
Kiersten getting ready for a little "Bum Sledding!"
WEEE HAAA!
Logan taking his turn. He had a great time this year! Last year his hands got cold in like 45 minutes and he was done!
On your mark, get set, GOOOOO!!!
Even though their faces are blurry I love their expressions..............half fear half excitement!
Hunter having a ball! Once I saw all these pictures I was really bummed I didn't get to go. I had a blast last year "Bum Sledding!"
Landed right before the trees, nice job!
Kiersten striking a pose. Justin was such a good husband to take all these pictures for me. Thanks Sweetheart! He had a fun time with the kids and they always LOVE Daddy Time!
And there she goes!
Kiersten was so very excited to get up to the snow and build a snowman! They first made the snow house, then tubed for a couple of hours and then the boys were getting cold and they hadn't yet made a snowman. Kiersten was bummed but told her dad that it was OK and they should just leave because the boys were cold. She is so sweet and of course Justin had to stay and help her build her snowman after being so sweet about it! They had asked me to give them a carrot for their snowman before they left, but between making green chili burros, snacks, and hot chocolate (complete with ready whip) I forgot the carrot. They were lucky to find a carrot up there..........what luck huh?
So all in all they had a wonderful time and even brough back a truck full of snow for all the neighbor kids to play with. They had snow ball fights for two days!
