Mr. Grant is the New Sherriff in Town

Our New Sheriff turned one on September 21st. Because of so many things going on we had to postpone his Big Birthday Bash for a month......but believe me it was soooo worth the wait!
Debbie once again did a fabulous job on the cake!
The kids LOVED it!
Mr. Grant loved his cake and kept trying to steal some frosting while I took this picture!
The Cowboy Cluff Family
It has always been one of our traditions to have a HUGE first birthday party.
Obviously it's not because we think a one year old cares.......that would be silly!
It all started with Kiersten..........she was the most colicky baby ever and we were so happy we had kept her alive that first year that we threw ourselves (Justin and I) a HUGE first birthday party. She was much happy as a toddler thank heavens.........the other boys ended up being pretty fussy, colicky themselves so the tradition of the HUGE first birthdays continued. Hunter's fussiness only lasted 4 months, much, much shorter then Kiersten's and Logan's.
Anyway.........Mr. Grant was a wonderful, happy, EASY baby so we felt even more reason to celebrate. So we invited 80 of our closest friends and family over for a Cowboy Dinner!
Included in this picture is Adam and Beals, Hallie Shupe, Jake Ferrin, Cole and Shawn Stacy, Chase Smith, Hunter and Austin Skinner. No broken bones on our trampoline so far.......knock on wood!
Ryker Shupe having a good time playing in the sand!
Zac Biggs telling Wendy how it is!
Thank you so much Wendy for being my photographer for the evening. What a great friend she is!
Avry Boswell right off the run way!
Our good friends, Jason and Tressie Smith, along with my good buddy Ashley.
Jon and Kari Stewart
Man I just love these two!
They are such good freinds and always show us great love! Plus a party just ain't a party without Kari!!!
Kamala Crockett, Melissa and Chris Brogan, Dad Cluff, and the Player Family
Thank you Melissa and Chris for traveling down for Mr. Grant's party! You guys are the BEST and we LOVE any chance we get to see you!
So glad Kamala and her sweet new baby Gunner could make it!
Logan getting ready to ride!
Mr. Grant and I of course needed a turn
Who better then Grandpa Boswell to give rides..........if it wasn't for him and his amazing talent we wouldn't have the horses in the first place.
So Hats Off to Grandpa!
Carson Harmon, Mr. Grant and Mom, Avry, Logan..........leading the way........
Giddy Up Horsies!
Logan, Kiki with Maddie, Carson Shupe
The older kids enjoyed riding the bikes and sckooters right along side of the horses.
Sadly this is a picture capturing Avry thinking she could "jump" from the moving horses.
Don't worry she was one tuff cowgirl..........the outfit however was not so tuff......sorry Gloria!
Mr. Grant with Uncle Jon and Aunt Kari
He likes Uncle Jon.........heck who doesn't like Jon!
We had to give other kids a turn.........darnit! Actually my bum had had enough.
Ryker Shupe, Austin Harmon, Jacob Curtis, Hunter and Carson Shupe enjoyed a ride on the horses...
Kiersten and Cambry got a turn as well
The rides continued for awhile..........these kids could ride these horses for hours.
Carson and Ryker Shupe and Ryan Biggs
Kamala, Melissa, Amy, Spencer, Scott, Richard and Stacy
We were so happy the Harmon's came to town to celebrate with us!
We love the Harmon family.........always a good time when they are around!
Doyle and Uncle Chris enjoying some football
Matt enoyed some football as well
Dustin was the other member of the football team
It was a gorgeous November evening!
No we didn't hire a rock band to perform at the party.........that is Uncle Spencer loving on Kiersten.
Thanks to Spencer I now have a little boy, Hunter, who wants to grow his hair long to be just like Spencer.
Just teasing Spencer I think your hair looks good..........but it is fun to give you a hard time! The ladies love his hair I can imagine..........he is single and a wonderful guy if you want to be set up let me know!
A slew of boys.........enjoying Mr. Grant's birthday present......the roller coaster in the back ground. It has entertained kids of all ages!
Hal Moore blessed us with his presence!
We adore the Moore family and are so sad that they don't live right by us anymore. But I guess we can't complain they are only 5 minutes away! Still we miss them being so close that the kids could walk to each others house to play!
Spencer and Scott
Hunter was so very excited to see that Scott came and I was way impressed that Scott dressed up in his best cowboy duds! What a guy! He's a good catch ladies!!!!
Kendall Moore giving us a good cowboy pose!
Kendall, Hunter and Cambry
Almost All Boy!
Austin was a good sport and gave the younger boys a ride in the wagon.
Ryan Biggs, Logan, Ryker Shupe and Brenner Moore
Silly Boys.........
When I called Logan a "silly boy" ....his responds was...
"I not a silly boy.....I a silly cowboy!"
Grandpa Cluff and Brynlee
I was so happy Grandpa wore his cowboy duds as well! He was so cute in his cowboy hat!
What a wonderful grandpa he is............he even likes the fussy ones, well babies that is,......
which has really came in handy in my life!
This would be all the youngins waiting for their turn to catch the greased pigs...........yes you read that right I said "Greased Pigs!!!"
Thanks Tressie for watching Mr. Grant so he didn't get trampled.
The kids were so excited about the pigs!
Being oh so patient!
The older kids were just as excited about the pigs. They had been over all week waiting for their chance to catch the pigs.....really they would come over all week and ask to look at the pigs. I told them they couldn't let them out to catch them until the party because I wanted the party to be the first time for the pigs!
Taylor Allen.......so cute in his cowboy duds!
Stacy and Branton enjoying the BBQ cowboy dinner!
The party was a HUGE success!
Happy Birthday Mr. Grant!
Everyday since you have been born has been a celebration for your Mommy and Daddy!
We Love You!
