Bringing the Christmas Cheer to our house!

In between building the playhouse the kids and I decorated the house all up for Christmas. The kids all love that they each have their own tree to decorate. I blast Christmas music throughout the house speakers and we just sing and decorate.
I Love It!
The kids were each excited to see the new ornament I had gotten for each of them. Hunter got a saddle and a spur ornament. Kiersten was happy about her owl ornament and her little cowgirl ornaments that can actually got in her Little Things Collection as well. Kiersten and Hunter were so sweet and helped Mr. Grant decorate his tree. This is Mr. Grant's first year to have his own tree and he has loved it. Every morning he gets out of his crib and asks to turn his Christmas tree lights on.
What a cute little guy!
Logan went on his birthday sleep over date with Grammy Cluff the day we decorated the little trees so he got to decorate his the following day.
He was so happy about his hot dog and dancing mouse ornaments.
The kids were just as excited about putting up our Doyle tree as they were last year (the first year we began this tradition).
As we put up each ornament that has a story behind it about their Uncle Doyle the kids eyes lit up. It was fun to hear what parts of the stories they remembered. I think it helps Justin to talk about Doyle and the wonderful brother that he was.
We also add Justin's ornaments from when he was a kid to his tree. The kids love seeing those as well and hearing any story that goes with those ornaments. I think the fact that Justin's mother kept all those cute little ornaments for each of her kids over all the years is a real testament of the amazing, loving mother that she is! I just adore her and her shining example of motherhood!
This picture might not mean a whole lot to you and it might not seem that fantastic. But to my kids it's wonderful. It is the first year we have ever had more then just lights on the house. They were so happy to have the yard more decorated this year. I hope we can add more lights next year and make it even better.
It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas here!
