Dance Recital Time

It's dance recital Saturday!!

It was a windy and chilly day today. The kids all danced great. Grant had a little solo part during his hip hop number. The crowd went wild when he did the coffee grinder. He rocked that!!!

I love my awesome dancers!!!
They all were amazing today.

These boys rocked the stage!!!
They sure are some fun Elfs!

Love all these kiddos!  Gavin and Callie seem like family.

I love recital time!
Don't get me wrong it's a hectic day. Three shows to go to. Getting food for kids in between shows and figuring out how many shows Ella can make it through takes a lot of work. But watching our kids do what they love up there on the big stage just melts my heart!

Ella Jane seems to be headed in the same direction. She was pretty mad the whole mini show because it wasn't her turn to go dance on stage. When it was the last number I told her she could go on stage next. But when the music stopped, the lights turned on and the people started to stand up she was devestated. She really cried!!!  Poor thing....she was heart broken. I took her and let her dance a little on stage. But she wanted everyone to be watching her.

Kiersten has enjoyed being lifted by Marley Grant during a couple of numbers this year. There are perks to being one of the smallest dancers. Helps that these boys are cute and super muscular. Makes it pretty fun for a teenage girl!!

This is Hunter's first lyrical number and his group rocked it!!!  It's called "Stand in the Light". And it talks about being who you are. Such a good message and the choreograph is well done. Loved it!!

It never feels quite like Christmas until the dance recital day arrives. For some reason that means that it can be Christmas now. So grateful for the talented kids we have!! Grateful to know that Families are Forever!
