We have really been enjoying the #LighttheWorld campaign the church has started this Christmas season. Today's challenge was to heal the sick. We talked about lots of things we could do to be more Christ like and to heal the sick. The kids came up with the idea to go buy some stuffed animals and donate them to Dylan's toy box at the Emergency Room.
Look at those cute stuff animals. They are bound to make several kids smile a little. Those look like some pretty happy boys if you ask me!
The kids got to go back in the ER and put the stuffed animals in the Dylan's toy box themselves. That was awesome! Our good friend Isaac Rogers was working in the ER that night which made the experience even better. The kids loved seeing a familiar face while at the hospital.
