Disneyland Trip Day Three

This was the day Kiersten had to perform at California Adventure.  So we decided to spend the whole day over there.

I love ALL the rides.....even the simple, slow ones!
The Little Mermaid was one of the first Disney movies I bought Kiersten when she was a baby and I have loved it ever since.

Can't pass up a picture with Mickey!

Hunter was THRILLED that both Mickey and Goofy were dressed "fancy" as he put it!

The weather was great.....it was only hot for a couple of hours in the afternoon and still not Arizona hot!

Cars Land is awesome!

Waiting to ride Mater's Junkyard Jamboree....it was the only ride in Cars Land that was short!!

It was fun and I missed Mr. Grant the most when we were in Cars Land.
He would have loved it!

Logan was way excited about it as well.

It is amazing how everything really looks just like Radiator Springs in the movie.

The kids thought the Cozy Cone was pretty awesome!

We didn't want to wait in the long line to take our picture with Lightning McQueen.  So I just snapped a quick picture of someone else by him....LOL!
We didn't actually ride the Radiator Springs Ride.....it was a 3 hour wait.  I let the kids decide and they didn't really care.  They were having so much fun riding everything else.  I told them in a couple of years we'll come back and bring Mr. Grant.  So they thought that would be fun to save that ride to go with him.  Boy was I glad....I didn't want to stand in a line for 3 plus hours.

Very exciting for Kiersten to get to dance on a stage that reads "Disney Performing Arts...DANCE!"
She was beyond excited!!

Party Rock Anthem dance.....a full company production number.

Kiersten rocked it up on stage!

This was one of their ballet numbers.  Kiersten has this same gorgeous smile the whole time she dances!

Kiersten is in the Hot Shots group.
This was their Foot Loose number........it is a crowd pleaser for sure!

Kiersten really shook her stuff up there!!!

Great job girls!

God Bless America.....full company production number!

Such beautiful dancing!
Kiersten on Tasia Shupes back.

This was after the show....about half the girls had already left.
It was a great experience for Kiersten.  Thanks Jenny for being such an amazing dance instructor.

Our friends and neighbors, The Kout's had came to Disneyland the same time even though they don't have a kid in dance.  So my boys spent some time riding rides with them and then we got to have Kaden come with us for a couple of hours.
We had a BLAST on the Grizzly River Rapids!
I got totally soaked and seriously Logan maybe had a splash on his face......so not fair but oh so fun!

We LOVED the Toy Story Mania ride!

This was about 12:00 at night....Logan had been saving his money to make a car.  We had seen it the first day we were in California, when we walked to Downtown Disney for dinner.  I couldn't believe he would put everything back at the shops for two days when I would remind him that if he spend any money he wouldn't have enough to make a car.
He would always quickly put the toy back and say, "okay I will wait...I really want the car!"

It was a very fun boy place.  You get to actually build your car.

Hunter talked me into letting him make one for Mr. Grant!  It was sweet of Hunter but really I think he just didn't want to spend his money on it and he knew if we got one for Grant then he could use it as well.  Pretty smart kid!

Sweet Car Logie Bear!

They had a great time picking out their cars and accessories.  It cost every bit of Logan's money but he was happy with his car!

I love this picture!

Sweet glasses and awesome ride....once again riding Toy Story Mania.  We rode it several times whenever we saw the line was short......15 minutes or less.

I love my girl!
Thanks for being the reason we came to Disneyland!!!
She totally became my favorite child.......at least for the three days at Disneyland.  Sorry boys :)

Logan loved it when we would run into the Shupe girls......Tasia is his "girlfriend!"

We had fun in the Monsters Inc ride..........it was funny at the end of the ride she made fun of Hunter's long hair.  He thought it was hilarious and of course the kids loved that each time you rode she was specific and commented on someone in your car.  Logan still might think she is alive!  It wouldn't be completely his fault if he did........Hunter and Kiersten did keep telling Logan that Yes she's alive.

In case you were feeling sorry for Mr. Grant..........what happened to the "No Child Left Behind" act right?  He got a little bit of his own piece of heaven.  His daddy brought home the new skidster.......complete with enclosed cab and air conditioning!!!  They enjoyed a day of playing in the dirt and they didn't even have to get hot!
I guess Mr. Grant was extremely excited!

Yes that would be me screaming like a sissy on the Tower of Terror!
It was my first time on the ride.........ended up loving it!!!
They kids loved it as well..........even 6 year old Logan.  He LOVED it!!!

Hunter was nice enough to share Mickey with Logan.  This was after the park closed.......we were doing some shopping in Downtown Disney and Logan just couldn't make it.  I was happy that he woke up happy enough to walk back to the hotel. Which was a block and a half down the road.
Day two was just as fun as day one!
Still smiled ear to ear all day!  One of the things I just LOVE about Disneyland is seeing all the adults that look and act just like little kids.  They wear the silly hats, talk about how fun the ride was and of course they enjoy all the unhealthy food.  I am that adult at Disneyland and I love it!!
